Frugalfoster, that was very touching - thank you for sharing it here. What a beautiful relationship you had with your mother and it's amazing you were strong enough to publicly honour her at the funeral.

Life is indeed short, I think this more and more with each passing day.

Thank you, too, Debbie for thinking of her. I still haven't seen her since the funeral, though have spoken to her via text. Her closest friend has passed on to the rest of us that she still needs time, so I'll wait as long as it takes.
