My sis is really sick.
Please keep her in your prayers. She has ulcerative colitis and is having a bad flareup...for the last 3 months...and she isn't getting better. She's been in a small town hospital twice and in Baptist once. Tomorrow we may be taking her back to Nashville. She's still in the small town hospital but I just don't see her getting the care she needs. She's so sick and I'm scared she's giving up. She's only 42. She's losing weight like crazy. Can't eat and has severe diarrhea which has in turn caused her to be severely dehydrated, uti, critical level potassium, white count is up because of infection. She's just desperately ill. I know we have a Great Physician that can help her so please please pray for her.

Thank you all. We ended up having to take her back to Baptist. We got back home Friday. I'm exhausted still. She was getting so bad and had stopped eating. She was giving up. They took her by ambulance and my bil and I followed. I stayed with her the whole time. They gave her a 2nd infusion of Remicade. God willing she'll be okay now although she's far from well and will have to fight this the rest of her life. There is no cure. She would have died if we hadn't taken her from the small town hospital to Baptist. They just simply couldn't treat her. She is home now and on very strong doses of steroids and other meds. She's lost so much weight. Just pray she can go into remission and be over this flare up. I love my sis so much and she is one of the sweetest, kindest people I know.
