Will they restart your payments if you switch back to their doctor?

Workman's comp is notoriously difficult to get, and it is hotly contested by the insurance company. I would get a lawyer that deals with workman's comp cases fairly often, and let them handle it from here. It likely won't be an easy fight.

    Good luck.

I was there and last year after I fell on both of my knees I was not supposed to go back to work, I said I had to, I regret it to this day, because my knees are really bothering me to this day.

Make sure you keep records of everything, every dr. appt, hospital trip, prescription, etc. It's better to have too many records than not enough. I hope things start looking up for you.

I don't want to be on comp or get money I just want to live pain free but so far nothing is working for the pain I want to work but just cannot at this time my doctor only put me out work for 2 days and now the insurance company has stopped payment just seems childish I did not asked to be put out of work permanently the doc thought 2 days off the cement floors and not transferring patients might help lol helped alright right out of a pay check the insurance guy has been threatening with non payment from the beginning if I went to my PCP so I knew was coming if I went there .

I am so sorry to hear this!! I know how much pain a bad back can give you. After two surgeries and four discs removed, I feel for you. I hope all thr insurance and comp gets straightened out and you get some relief. Hugs

I feel for ya..I blew a disc in my back a week ago...and i'm self employed so no workers comp...no sick leave...no work=no pay!! Doc says surgery...I say not so fast. Really brings down to reality the importance of an emergency fund!

When I was injured I have private workers comp and they have been wonderful. Next time I will take the time off. Good Luck.
