My oldest son Jaysn is having a hard time kicking this strep throat thing. He still has a high fever and has been on antibiotics since Monday night. I talked to the doctor yesterday when I went in for my lovely case of strep and he told me to bring Jaysn back in if he didn't start feeling better real soon. Sooooo... I'm taking him back in this afternoon. Poor kid is so discouraged and just wants to be healed and feeling better. He is my child that gets everything twice as hard as the rest of us and takes at least twice as long to heal.
So, if you have time, could you please send up prayers for him. He has so much faith is God and I know that he will appreciate all your prayers and so would the rest of our family. God bless and thank you!
Jaysn-I hope you're feeling better soon. I've had strep before and I know just what you're going through. It's no fun being sick but it's especially not fun when you're taking meds and just can't get well.....Sending many prayers your way! :hugz:
Sounds like Will - everyone else would get plain ol' strep throat, Will had to do us all one better & get Scarlet Fever.....guess we all have one!!
Prayers have been, are being, and will continue to be said for your family as you continue to heal....Hang in there Jaysn!!
And from Will - "hang in there man - you sound a lot like me - that means you're not a quitter, well, you could quit being sick - that's not what I meant, Mom don't type that, I meant, I just hope you get better soon!"
Jaysn sends his thanks to everyone and got a huge kick out of Will's message! We took him back into the doctor and they put him on a new medication that covers a broader range of things, gave him a shot and some cough meds. He should be well by Thanksgiving! Praise God! Then they took one look at me and ordered me to go home and rest since I had been running all day long and have not had much time to just sit. They also said that Chris and Josh need to take it easy for the next few days even though their fevers are gone so they don't relapse and to just call if Jeff starts getting sick. They'll call in a perscription for him too and he won't even have to come into the office. Oh the joys of having a "sick" household!
Thanks again for all your prayers for us. They are all appreciated and felt!!!! :grouphug:
Saying prayers for all of you, hugs to Jasyn and his overwhelmed mom :hugz: And hoping that Jeff doesn't come down with it. Snuggle up on the couch with those wonderful sons of yours and take things easy til you all feel better.
:angel2: Prayers for Jasyn and the whole family. I hope you're all feeling better soon Debbie.
