    Unhappy UPDATED Prayers for my grandmother

    A week or so ago my mothers mom fell and they thought she had broke her hip, after taking her to the hospital for x-rays they said, no it was just bruised , gave her some meds and sent her home. She has still been hurting(she is 93) so yesterday mom and one of her sisters took her back to the hospital, after more x-rays, she has a fractured pelvis! So she is going to be in the hospital a few days and then a nursing home a week or so. This is a woman who has never spent more than a day or two away from home.

    Just send prayers and good thoughts she heals quickly, mom is spending the night at the hospital with her tonight and we had to put off our trip to visit Kat and Joe till next week I guess.

    I haven't talked to my mom yet, I know she is probablly sleeping since she probablly didn't get much rest at the hospital last night. I will check in as soon as I talk to her.

    I talked to mom fridayand was shocked to hear gran had fallen again Friday morning prior to her dr.'s appointment. Your brother and I both said that it was a good thing that she had a Dr.'s appointment that afternoon or it may have been as long as Sunday before someone found her. I know whe must be sore falling twice in 2 weeks. I'm just glad that your mom went up there early to help her get ready for the appointment.

    Hope mom and gran are both getting rest and we will see you when we see you.

    This will be my last day on the computer until we get a phone or cable internet up there so if you need us you know how to get us.

    Give everyone a hug for us.
