    Unhappy Prayers for my niece (Update at top)

    Everyone who sees this, please say a prayer for my 11 month old niece.  They just found out last night that she has cancer.  She has a tumor on her kidney called a Wilm's Tumor.  She was taken to Vanderbuilt in Nashville last night by ambulance, and they're going to operate today.  I know the prognosis isn't too bad with Wilm's, but this is going to be so hard on all of us.  I'm still in shock right now.  The good news is, we heard from my stepsister in Pensacola, and we do know they are not hurt.  That is all we know right now. 

    Update: They decided to do surgery on Wednesday.  It will be a 6-8 hour surgery.  If the cancer is at stage 3 they will have to do radiation.  For now, they are saying she will have chemo once a week for 9 months.  They say she will live a normal productive lifespan after this.  Thank God.  Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers.  I appreciate them so very much!!!  

    On another note, Ivan blew away my stepsister's home in Pensacola.  They couldn't get to their home because the bridge is out, but my BIL could only see a few walls in their whole neighborhood.  They have retreated to my stepsister's mom's house in Nashville.
