Chris has to have surgery today, pleas pray for him.
Chris broke his foot last night and has to have surgery today to put a screw in the bone so that his recovery time will be a month or month and a half as opposed to 5 months. He wants to play baseball starting the middle of next month and our orthopedic surgeon said that with the screw, he could. I can see God's hand in this whole situation because one of our regular doctors was on duty in the emergency room at the hospital and knows us all well and Chris's orthopedic surgeon who has worked with Chris, Jeff, Josh and my FIL was on duty and will be doing his surgery today.
Please pray for a quick recovery for Chris and for our surgeon who has a busy day ahead of him with multiple surgeries lined up.
Oh yes, I forgot to tell you how he broke it...playing basketball down at the park and landing on it wrong. OUCH!

Oh my! I am so sorry that Chris broke his foot. It was a blessing that everyone needed for his recovery were in the right place at the right time. I will be keeping him in my daily prayers. Give him a big ole hug from his Village Aunties and let him know that we are thinking and praying for him.

Ouch is right!

Happy he's on the road to recovery and I'm sure he is happy he can be better in time to play again.
Hoping his pain is minimal and he's feeling pain free soon.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I'm sorry to hear about the broken foot.
But, it does seem like God is working things out for him and his surgery. Praying that the Dr.s will be skilled and that healing will be complete.
