My 7 year old has pneumonia
......she has been sick since Sat. night with a fever of 102-103 and a cough. I took her in this morning and found out she has pneumonia. I told DH this morning I thought that was what it was. It did make me feel like a good mommy to have diagnosed her correctly. But, I wish she wasn't sick. She is just so droopy. I knew she felt bad when she didn't even whine because she didn't get to go to church yesterday.
Anyway, prayers are appreciated.

Aww, I hope she shakes this soon.
Big hug to you too Cheryl, I know it's hard when your baby is so sick.

Aaawww Cheryl, I'm sorry to hear it. Glad you got her in and on meds though. My ds had it 4 times by the time he was 3. He never had it again when I convinced the dr. to give him a pneumonia shot. I hope your dd gets better soon.

Cheryl, I am sorry your DD has pneumonia. I have had it twice as a child. I hope she will get better very soon, it must be such a bummer for her. Sending prayers her way!

Thanks for the prayers! Katie is much better. Her yearly well child check was scheduled for yesterday, which was very convenient. She is better but still has some crackling in her lungs. The doctor is keeping her out of school for the rest of the week. She is going stir crazy from being inside, so I took her to the library this morning and then to Target. She got a craft kit and several books and 2 DVDs. We also got a KerPlunk game to play together.
Thanks again!
