Frugal Swap Signups and Rules!
First of all, it is not too late to join in! I want this to be very simple, and hopefully very fun for everyone who joins.
Rules:
1. To join, reply to this thread with the item(s) you would like to swap. This should be something you already have at home, and may not have a use for or only used once. It can be small or large, but remember that you will be shipping it.
2. The item(s) you are swapping must be in good to like new condition if they are used.
3. I will give everyone until Thursday evening, at 6:00 Pacific Time to join in. Then I will post a comment saying that the swap is closed.
4. Once everyone is in, PM me with your top 5 choices (in order of which you want the most.) To make it easy on me, please include the poster's name and what the item is. Also include your address, so I can give it to them. DO NOT PM THE POSTER! The reason for this being, I want to make sure that everyone doesn't PM the same person and then we don't really have a swap, now do we?
5. Once everyone has PM'd me, (And I will poke you if you don't!) I will then PM you back with who you are sending to and their address.
Remember, you may not get your top choice. It will be first come first serve, so if you want it, you must PM me as soon as I post that the swap is closed.
Sound good? If so, reply with what you've got!

Okay, I'll start. I've got a grab bag of stuff from Bath and Body Works. I might add some stuff to it as I go, but this is what I have so far.
-4oz Pear Blossom Shower Gel
-2oz Enchanted Orchid body lotion
-.03oz Enchanted Orchid Eau De Toilette (sample vial)
-2oz Sea Island Cotton body lotion
-2 Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer lip tints, the colors are Rhubarb and Coffee
-100% Pure Shimmery Strawberry Fruit Pigment Lip and Cheek stain (all natural and yummy!)
-Deborah Lipmann VINYL nail polish "You Give Love a Bad Name" It's neon pink.
Everything is completely unused! Some things may have initials on them, that's because if we get something free to try it is initialed so we can have it in our purse without suspicion of stealing. If it came sealed, it is still sealed. (All the lip products are sealed.) Kind of a mish mash of stuff, but could be fun to share with a daughter or niece as well.

Okay, I'm in!
I've got a brand new, never used, in the box coffee mug and warmer. The mug is a wide, rounded mug and the warmer goes underneath. You keep it plugged in and set your coffee on it and your mug of coffee never goes cold!
It's in a cute country pattern.My Blog: http://amysreallife.com

I have a question: what if I don't see anything I want on people's lists, but someone wants something from me? Is that person out of luck in getting my item?
I haven't seen anything yet that I can use.

I'm going to try my best to match people up the best I can. If for example, someone posts something and no one chooses it, I will kindly let them know, and they have the option of not participating.
I'm hoping that we can get a lot more people to join, so that this won't end up happening. Hopefully by extending the close date a little, that will help. :/
Also, I want to encourage people to post items they are looking for. Some of us may have things sitting around that we never thought of listing, and it turns out people really need them! That will make for a successful swap!

Okay, I got a weird item today while cleaning out a ladies home.
I got her 2 recipe boxes full of her favorite recipes. Most are typed but some are hand written. Who's life can I enrich with this treasure? Do we have a new cook that could use a lifetime of recipes?

I will come up with a list and post it. I have quite a lot of books with a broad variety but very few best sellers, and very few recent ones. Lots of mysteries, romances, westerns, drama, some self-help. I'd be pretty happy to fork some over to anyone who wants some even without a swap - seriously, I have over 40,000 books and insufficient house space to keep them all.
