Have a think about how much it'll cost me!!
I've decided to send to all on the list please madhen.
I've had such a lovely welcome and lovely experience here at FV so far, I've been wondering why I wouldn't want to send to you all?
Christmas is a time for giving and receiving, and thinking of others.
I for one am so excited about returning from our Christmas getaway to a pile of cards, all from the US and Canada. It is going to cost me a FORTUNE to send all those cards from the UK to the US, but ya know what? FV is teaching me to be frugal and save money, so I will MAKE the cards, and what I'll get in return, including a warm feeling of goodwill in my tummy, is worth the postage cost.

I'll try to remember to put this in the pm as well, but I am just going to send the entire list to everyone. Some of you have indicated that you can only send a few cards, and some of you have indicated that you want to send to everyone on the list.
Please don't feel in any way pressured to send to all on the list, just because you got the whole list!! Especially to/from other countries, as I know that can get pricey. Send what works for you, and trust that there are enough people who have said they can send to all on the list ot ensure that all of us should be getting our mailboxes stuffed!
This is supposed to be fun, not something that stresses you out because of the cost!
Two more days. I'll send out the list late Sunday night.
BTW, if we get any stragglers after that, I'll still send you the list and send your name to everyone else, so you should still be able to get your cards out in time (unless you don't pm me until 12/23 or so).DH aka Mad Hen

I've done this before but I forgot and an airhead of course.

Just did a Google search..
Is this link any good Palooka? http://ircalc.usps.gov/
I just searched 'postage costs to uk and canada from us' and this was the first link. I have no idea of course. Think I''ll have to go to my local post office and find out too.
ETA: just looked up on UK post office website, and it says I will need to post everything by the end of 1st Dec!! Yikes that's tomorrow!! *hopes list will arrive soon*Last edited by InDiAnNa; 11-30-2008 at 06:53 AM. Reason: PANIC!

Okay, the list just got sent out!!
Twenty-seven names! Not too shabby!
Please check your name/address. I tried to make sure I got everyone's mailing address right, but I don't want to cheat you out of your card because I transposed your street address!
You will see that "asimplegirl" is also on the list. She had jumped in prior to being shunned, so I didn't feel right not including her name. I didn't send her the list, so you won't be getting a card from her, but if you want to send one, the information is there. She took the time to send me a really kick-a$$ sounding gumbo recipe, so I owe her at LEAST a card!
