Default Would you guys be interested

in a Valentine's Day card swap for all of our homeschool kids? I do this with another online HS group and my kids thoroughly enjoy it. My DD makes her cards and my DS buys his (with his own $). We also include a little blurb about where we live, our homeschooling adventures, etc. It's a great way to teach geography and we've even made some penpals along the way.

Count my daughter in. She is eager.

She is 11. My teens are a wee bit beyond all that. LOL.

Anyone who is interested please PM me your name, your child(ren)'s name, and address. The last day to join is January 30. That should give everyone time enough to address their cards and so the mail can deliver them before Feb 14th.

I was thinking about this earlier and if anyone else who has children that wants to join, PM me. It really doesn't matter if you homeschool or not. My kids will still love to hear from you!

Maybe we should set up a master list for penpal purposes. We could just let the kids send out letters or postcards throughout the year as they wish. It could be like postcardX only with a smaller group and just for kids... You can really cut out any kind of picture and glue it to a piece of cardboard to make it a postcard. A friend once emptied a coke bottle, filled it with a letter and some glitter and ribbon and slapped an address label on it. There's all kind of cool ways to send mail, and if we just use a list to pick a person to send it to, we don't have to stress about sending out a certain amount of mail by a certain time or mailing someone so many times a year...

    But count me in. Thx.

    Ok....what are your children doing?
I wanted my daughter to send a premade card with alittle bit about herself on each one... she wants MAKE each card!!!!! UGH! Perfectionists!
So she has only 3 made so far and so I suggested she send the rest purchased cards because then they will be ON TIME. She said NO it is better late but handmade...OK I am having convulsions...LOL.
So would your little valentimes prefer them bought and ON TIME or homemade and late....please e-mail me.

She is going to a valentine craft day on thursday and she is very excited because she will be making even more cards..

let me know... I am trying very hard not to throttle my 11 year old LOL.
    Happy Valentines day!

We started out making our cards, but with time constraints we decided to abandon that mission and bought some premade cards at the dollar store. We'll give the cards that we already made to our family/friends.

No need to stress about it...who cares if they are a day or two late? My kids like to get mail anytime.

I owe you guys an apology. We didn't get our valentine's out before the move- so it all ended up getting lost in the hustle. I'm hoping to use our list and send out some postcards if that's all right with you all.
