I was thinking it would be fun to swap handmade pins for special occasions.....(if you don't feel crafty, these pins do not have to be handmade put should at least be embellished a bit by you) Pins are easy and inexpensive to make and fun to wear. I thought I would do a swap for each special occasion or holiday. It would be fun to get them done early enough to have time to wear them. I will ask you to sign up for each individual swap, signing up this time does not mean you are tied in to do all of them. This one will be on short notice, and anyone interested in signing up for the first one should reply to this thread.
This swap will be "Valentine's day" and I would like to set you up with the one you'll send to by
January 11th, 2004 (That is one week to sign up) and you should have them in the mail by January 25th, 2004 (That is 2 weeks to finish the pin) this will allow enough time for your recipient to receive their pin and wear it for a couple of weeks before the holiday ends..... Come on lets have some fun !!

I just wanted to add that this is an easy swap.... Remember that whatever your interest or crafting medium this will work for you.. You need only make a small piece of your artwork and put a safety pin or pin back on it...... If you quilt, scrap, draw, work with wood, clay, beads, wire, whatever you like. The possibilities are endless....... Give it a try.... and remember you need only make one for the swap.......
