    I haven't participated before, so forgive me if these are "off".

    How about something you equate with freedom or comfort...in honor of the July 4th holiday.

    Or how about something that represents the best of your home state--the real deal--not what the marketing people say on their website.

    Or maybe a "summer touchstone". Something that makes you smile and you relate to warm days, lots of daylight, and all of the good things that come with summer.

    I really like the "Something you equate with freedom or comfort..." I would be interested in something patriotic. My Hero, my love, is currently deployed to Afghanistan, and seeing the "Support Our Troops" magnets on cars make me tear up (no laughing lol) So something along those lines would very much appeal to me
