Default 2007 Swap list by month

We had lots of great ideas for our swaps for the upcoming year. The list of swaps by month is now ready. All swaps should be kept at a $10 or under price limit (not including shipping).

January~Pamper Yourself swap, the swap can include items such as bubble bath, candles, lotions, eye mask, soothing candles, anything that you could use to pamper yourself a bit.

February~Readers and Writers swap, this swap could include journals and pens, bookmarks, a great book, memo pads, grocery list pads ect...

March~Spring Swap, Celebrate Spring, this could include anything that reminds you of spring, such as a spring colored candle, seed packets, gardening tools like maybe garden gloves and a hand held spade or rake, anything that has to do with spring

April~Kitchen gadgets, this is any type of kitchen gadget or kitchen tea towels, hot pads, recipe cards, ect...

May~Surprise swap, you will surprise your swap partner, I will post a questionnaire before the swap with some questions about hobbies, likes, dislikes, allergies ect... and have them sent back to me. I will then assign by PM, the recipient will not know their sender until they receive their package. This swap will be limited to members who have already successfully participated in a swap prior to this one. I will post more about it in April.

June~Local swap, this swap will be for items from your local area, they can include key chains, post cards, maps of your area, anything that relates to your local area. This swap will be a virtual visit to your town for your swap partner .

July~Christmas in July swap, this is exactly what it says, Christmas in July, anything relating to Christmas

August~Outdoor swap, this swap will be for anything that you can use outside, gardening items, a cute pitcher or tumblers for a refreshing pitcher of iced tea or lemonade on the porch, ect...

September~Bag Swap, this could include tote bags or any other kind of bag that you think that your swap partner would like

October~Autumn fun, this will be anything related to Autumn, it could be a fall decoration or even a fun mug with some cocoa mix or tea bags for those cooler nights that come around in Autumn, ect....

November~Recipe swap, we will swap 10 recipes, they must be sent by snail mail and be a tried and true recipe from your personal recipe files

December~Staying warm swap, this swap could include a warm scarf or gloves, hot beverage mix, ect...

Oh wow, thanks Kathy for the great list. I'm jotting it all down in my planner that I carry with me in my purse so I can remember what each swap is for each month and pick up things in advance. This is gonna be a great "Swap" year.

    Thanks again!

I like knowing ahead of time what we'll be swapping so I can pick things up when I see them. Can't wait to get swapping again- I haven't done one in a while!
