2008 Swap list by month

This is our monthly list for 2008. Some of the swaps will be repeats of swaps that we did in 2007 that were popular and some will be new ones for this year. All swaps should be kept at around our $10 to $15 price limit (not including shipping).

January Swap ~Pamper Yourself swap, the swap can include items such as bubble bath, candles, lotions, eye mask, soothing candles, anything that you could use to pamper yourself a bit. (This was our most popular swap of 2007 )

February Swap~Readers and Writers swap, this swap could include journals and pens, bookmarks, a great book, memo pads, grocery list pads, pen and pencil set, ect...

March Swap~Spring Swap, Celebrate Spring, this could include anything that reminds you of spring, such as a spring colored candle, seed packets, gardening tools like maybe garden gloves and a hand held spade or rake, anything that has to do with spring

April Swap~ Kitchen gadgets, this is any type of kitchen gadget or kitchen tea towels, hot pads, recipe cards, utensils, spices, spoon rest, ect...

May Swap~Home accents swap. Items to add to the decor of our homes. Some ideas can include bath soaps, frames, candles, vases, pictures, coasters, pillows, placemats, etc. Anything to accent a decor. (can be for any room of the home)

June Swap~Red, White and Blue Swap, we will be swapping red, white and blue items this month. They can be patriotic but do not have to be. The main requirement is that they are in the red, white and blue color scheme.

July~Cookbook swap~ does not have to be new but must be in good condition and be a cookbook that will appeal to most people. Hardback, paperback, gently used or brand new cookbooks plus any other small items you would like to add to your package.

August~ Vacation/camping/beach/Picnic, souvineers from your town/state, camping items; citronella candles, lanterns, smores stuff, bug spray, Beach; Towels, sand toys, Picnic; picnic utensils, basket, blanket etc,

September~ Sock Swap, swap will be for 2 pair of fun socks. Must be new, can be store bought or hand knit but must not be previously worn .

October ~ Think Pink Swap, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Not strictly pink and not necessarily strictly Breast Cancer Awareness related. An item, hopefully, that will act simply as a reminder, an awareness, a memorium, possibly even a reason to keep on fighting or get that overdue mammogram. Could be a pink and purple scarf or a Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirt for example.

November~Computer, office, library items.. Books, Cd's, bookmarks, magnets, mouse pads, stationary items, photo books, address books

December~Swap For The New Year Package will include: 2009 calendar and small creative items related to the New Year Some ideas~ Goal journal, Birthday journal ,Organization notebook, Special candle, Address book.
