Anyone have anything different than turkey?
We are a turkey family here. In fact, we sometimes have it on Christmas too. LOL
We're very plain for the holidays as it is just the three of of us.

Turkey at my FIL's this year I think. We usually go to PA, but now that Kathryn is in school there isn't enough time. He'll put out quite the spread and have all sorts of things there...the traditional fare plus many other things.

We are a Turkey family !!!!! In fact I buy several and have the butcher cut them in half... I get them while they are free or on sale cheap !!! We eat them all the time...... My family would be crushed it they didn't have cold turkey sandwiches for the next 3 days........

Turkey here too. There will only be the children and I this year. (I hope) so it will be a small turkey breast and all the other things that go with that.

Turkey here too, although MIL has dinner at her house. We usually bring some side dishes and dessert, she provides the turkey, gravy, stuffing, and sweet potatoes. MMMMM, now I want turkey....

Well, I'm definitely in the minority here, I hate turkey, lol. The in-laws always have turkey and a few slices of ham with all the trimmings. Here at home I always fix a ham, potato salad, baked beans, biscuits, macaroni and cheese, and my mom's dressing recipe. And I'll fix a pumpkin pie and usually a spice cake. Wow that's a lot of carbs I may have to add in some salad or fresh veggies this year.
We usually have a couple of turkeys and a ham. I don't have much family left, just a brother and a sister, so I have attached myself to my best friend's family. we split up all the side dishes. I usually do a side dish and a dessert. My famous Sour Cream Pound Cake and equally famous Sweet Potato Casserole. The entire family, which is no small task, eats and yells, and fusses. Then we clean up and yell godd-bye. That's about it for us.
