quiet hour cake
This is a method ok
1 yellow cake mix
eggs, oil as called for on box
an 8 oz can of crushed pineapple
1 cup of sour cream
pineapple juice and water added to make the amount on box.
mix together put into cake pan sprayed with pam.
Top the uncooked cake batter with 1 cup brown sugar or more eyeball it so it is even, 1 cup coconut same as brown sugar, 1 cup chopped pecans eyeball.
bake until done, while hot poke holes into top of cake and top with 1/2 stick butter melted into 1 can eagle sweet milk. YUMMY

Question - what does melting butter into sweetened condensed milk do? Make it creamier? Solidify it? Or something else?

That does sound good...........but like L ...am curious about the butter and cond. milk..........
will have to check to see if this is in my Cake Doctor cookbook.

i really don't know just the way we make it. Butter is yummy and so is sweet milk lol
