Question What Are The Inventions That Have Made The Biggest Difference In Your Life?

We have seen many new inventions come into our lives. I can remember when there was no digital TV. We had three channels to chose from! Also remember when there were no microwaves. Which invention, that has become common place in our lifetimes, has made the most difference in your life? I think the computer has had a huge impact on my life. I don't know what I did without it! I also love my mini van. I can remember the big, old station wagon we had when our kids were small. Which inventions stick out as huge improvements in your life?

    - Computers
    - my SUV (the back gate swings out instead of down so I don't have to reach over it.)
    - Electricity (winter and the ice storms are coming and we lose this alot!)

I can't think of any more right now.

I have to think of the following:

    - medicine
    - electricity
    - phone (without the phone, we'd have no computers)
    - cars

I would have to say medicine. The meds that DD takes weren't available 20 years ago. We would be so lost without it!

I would have to say my computer and the microwave. I use both of these so frequently that I can not imagine not having them. The funny thing is that although I have had a microwave for 20+ years, I did not get a computer until 5 years ago.

All of the above!!!! Oh and microwave popcorn!!!!

My children think that we must have been deprived as children since there were no video games, no vcr's, no personal computers, no color tv's and very poor reception and we had phone we had to dial and had a cord on them so you could wander around the house talking to yoru friends! LOL!

I'd have to agree with the personal computer. I also love the vcr, microwave, cordless and cell phones, and all the meds that used to be Rx only that are now available over the counter!

Computer for sure. It has made my life so much easier to bear at times.
And I think sewing machines... I am having so much fun sewing my own curtains and things, and quilting. I could have done it without a machine, but its so much easier and quicker!
