Maybe the Lone Ranger, or Cisco Kid, definetly mostly westers, later Lassie, Leave it to Beaver. Don't know when it started but I still love that Road Runner.

I spent part of my childhood in the UK, so I remember watching Coronation Street with my little brother in the mid-sixties and giggling at all the characters. We had no idea of what was going on, of course. My parents were into westerns, so I remember Bonanza and Big Valley, but not Wagon Train and some of the others they talk about.

When we moved back to Chicagoland, my absolute favorite shows were Frazier Thomas shows - Garfield Goose after school (then outside to play, as per Mom!), and Family Classics on Sunday nights.

crunchyco, well kiddo I was in the same country as you at the same time, but I was busy with the opposite sex. married a girl in Blackpool, which didn't last long. But I still have fond memories, from there, but found a better wife, right in my back yard

Hey I sometimes watch Brit shows on PBS, they are good.

Was trying to figure out which came first Roy Roger, or Gene Autry, OK any any you being smart who came first Roy Rogers or Dale Evans oh I know Gabby Hayes even came before Dale Evans did

For the uninitiated, Garfield Goose was (still is if you ask me) King of the United States. Loved Family Classics, too, and Bozo and Ray Rayner. Remember Andy Starr, who showed all of those "horrible, violent Three Stooges" every single day after school??? I bought a bunch of Stooges DVDs and my teenagers think they're funny even today!! (SO DO I!!!)
