Anyone ever heard the 'Dolly Playmate' song?

The way I learned the song was:

and bring your dollies three
climb up my apple tree look in your rain barrel slide down your cellar door and we'll be jolly friends for evermore.
I'm sorry playmate ,I cannot play with you my dollies have the flu, boo hoo, boo hoo, boo hoo, ain't got no rain barrel ain't got no cellar door but we'll be jolly friends forever more.

I was born in '74 and I knew that song. Did the little hand clap thingy joyofsix talked about, too. Here were the lyrics I remember:

Charles C - think we are of the same generation!! I remember being thrilled seeing Hopalong Cassidy in the Macy Thanksgiving Parade in the early 1950's!!

mauimagic I was born in "44. Remember this room seemed even the same name a while back. But my memory is so bad, I'd forgot about Hopalong, did they have the roadrunner back then, can't remember, but it's my favorite cartoon. That coyote and his acme signs

So you've got two years on me - that's okay. Don't remember the roadrunner then, Howdy Doody was a biggie as was Shari Lewis and Lambchop. You would have loved the parade!!

Oh my word, I have not thought of this song in years. I was born in the early 50's and remember it well now that y'all have jogged my memory. Thanks!!!!!
