Default I'm sometimes surprised by how content I am

these days. I mean that I don't have to have lots of fun things going on all the time....I can just spend a quite afternoon at the FV or even just contemplating and I'm quite content with that. Anyone else feel the same?

Lisa, I totally relate to what you're saying. I just feel happy and content deep down to my bones. Maybe it's my age, maybe it's what I'm doing, but it feels good.

Thanks for this thread. It made me smile.

I look forward to that feeling in my life - where guilt and pressure and time constraints and trying to please others just kind of rounds its old self out in me and I can just be comfortable being me - doing right by others and truly living and experiencing - MY Chosen path of Simplicity

Good for you Lisa and Rhonda for getting yourselves to this point. I don't think its an age thing - I think it might be more of a self comfortableness - you are at a point where you are pleased with how you do, perhaps.

Lisa I can so relate too. Even though life has thrown some loops these past few months and especially yesterday, I'm content deep down to my bones too. Its amazing!!

A few years ago I would never have been able to say that. I think it comes with age and with learning whats really important in life.

I feel that way on weekends when I can just relax and not have to be on the run. I don't need fancy trips...I just need my family and a place to call home (and Montana once every few months to help me unwind! ).

Yep, I'm right there with you my friend. I just don't let those bumps bother me as much. It might take a bit for something to get worked out but have learned it always does... so don't sweat the small stuff.
And for the big stuff, I know I'm not alone and it's OK to ask for help & lean on people if I need them. We'll get through.

Lisa, I'm not surprised by how content you are. You've always been a happy person in my eyes.

I'm feeling great too! I took a nice refreshing drive by myself in the blizzard tonight. rofl I got honked at for driving too slow and it was funny. I'm some sort of nutcase to be out in this weather.

Well, you know us Noels over here. Not much terribly exciting to share but we're happy. Lots of good stuff.

While I'm typing away, I wanted to just say that each person in this thread made me smile or gave me encouragement in the past week. I think that speaks volumes.

It does speak volumes. I'm pleased i'm in this nice group.

LOL @ you out driving in the blizzard. When people honk you do you respond or pretend you don't hear them? I either smile or give them the fork fingers. I have to. It makes me feel good.
