Default Why is it when your 20 you think you know it all, and....

Once you hit 50, you realized you haven't learnt half of what you want to learn and that life is passing you by quickly and you better get cracking.

There is so much I still want to learn - I keep wondering why I didn't do half of it earlier in my life. I have no regrets though, only thoughts that sometimes run through my head like this.

I am glad that I've realized that even though there are a thousands things I still want to learn, that I can't learn it all. I do hope that until I'm gone I won't ever give up on the quest for knowledge.

You are so right! I will turn 44 in a couple of weeks, and life is passing so quickly! And I still feel like a kid at times, but I can see how short life really is. It's hard to believe that my daughter is grown and has a baby of her own.
There is so much I want to do before my time comes to go. I know I can't "do it all," but I will be happy to do some of them.

I think you have to be midlife age to realize that you cant possibly know everything! At 20, we think we are hot shots. Then as we age we realize we aren't all that! And that is OK. We are wonderful, wise women who are learning new things everyday and most importantly are appreciating everything that we do learn! I hope to continue to grow and challenge my comfort zone until the day I die! Hooray for us "older" women! We really do have the best of all worlds
