still have kids at home? I do. I am 45 and have two boys. Ods is 18 and in his last yr of high school. He has been accepted to a college about a hour away.
Yds is 15 and a freshman in high school so we have a few more years before he goes off to college.

I do. I'm 46 and my youngest ds just turned 19. He attends college, but is a commuter student. He just graduated hs, last spring. My almost 22 yo ds is a commuting college student as well and still lives at home, at least until he graduates, next spring.

I am 42, and I have 3 kids still at home. DD#1 will be 20 next month and is a college student commuting at our local community college, she will be graduating in May with an Assoc. of Applied Business with Legal Emphasis, and 3 certificates, she does not at this point want to continue on with a Bachelors, she works for a law firm and Bath and Body. She will make more decisioins after she sees about getting a a full-time job, DD#2 is 17, she will graduate from high school in May, she is going to attend our community college for 2 years, then transfer away to finish with a Bachelor's either in Education and or Sports Journalism, she has been offered scholarships for soccer and a few for basketball, but she has had a back surgery and back problems, so my DH and I decided that her health comes first, also, our county offers free tuition to the community college for 2 years, we pay for books and fees, DD#1 is a 4.0 student and pays for absolutely nothing to attend. I figure it saves lots, and lots of $$$. DS#1 and the youngest, is going to be 14 in April and will be going to high school this fall.
taking one day at a time, trying to get rid of debt!!

42 here and some young ones still in the house. ds-9, ds-11, and dd-12 who thinks she's 17 and one 22 ds living far away. It is hard at times keeping up with them, I am starting to feel the little aches and pains of my age. DH though is 51.

I am 51 and my kiddo's are gone from home. We have had one daughter return for a couple of months while her home was being finished. That was different but we got thru it. It is weird that you miss them so much when they leave and then you settle into a rountine and when they come home..your like....wow..this is different having kids around. But I do love it when they come home every now and then....

I'm 44 and our two little ones are still at home. Two girls ages 9 (going on 29) and 5. Our older children are living lives out on their own or with there other parent. We still have a long way to go from being empty nesters. And to tell you the truth. I'm not looking forward to that at all.

I am 44 and have a 22 ds who is in his senior year of college. Dd is 18 and is a freshman in college going to the same university as her brother. Ds is an ag major and dd is an architectural engineering major.
Ds works for a family here so comes home on breaks and some weekends to work. Dd comes home every few weeks for the weekend and we have a girls day out to go shopping and have lunch. It's been great for me that they both chose to go to school so close.
