    Default What do you do now ???

    What kind of things are you able to do now that you couldn't do when you were younger ???

    I have more time to spend with family, I worked and got all the gadgets, electronics, paid for the house, then I realized I was working for a living, I wasn't living...... Dh is retired and I have been home for 8 months now, I thought I was between jobs, but I may not go back..... We bought a little motorhome this year and I think it's time to slow down.......

    I am working more now than I ever have in my life! I would love to slow down a bit, but there are too many bills to pay. I hope to be in a position to work part-time in five years or so.

    I am a SAHM but the work seems to never end. I have to admit there's not as much cooking, cleaning, washing to do on a reg. basis but now DH seems to demand a LOT of my "free" time. I also have been really neglecting things around here. I do have more time to play on the puter, but that eats up my other "free" time, it seems. I'm working hard to find a "balance".

    ~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~
    *We're debt freeeeeeeee! (including the house)*

    Family takes up a lot of my time now. I have more time now but, seems that everyone depends on me to do things they can't because, they still work. When I retired I thought I would finally catch up on everything! Not! I too am trying to find a balance.

    I find I'm busier now than when I was working full time. Between mystery shops, my cleaning jobs and keeping the house up, when the day is over I'm pooped.

    I'm busier now than I ever was also. It seems I go from morning until night and when I get to bed I'm beat. its a good type of tired though.

    I am a SAHM who now sells antiques on ebay. I retired 1 year ago from the furniture business. I worked as a display artist for michigans largest furnituere retailer. I love being home now and waking up and seeing my girls off to school. I love the fact that I can sit here and do business on the computer, in my jammies if I darn well please to!

    I worked LESS when I worked full time! I am always busy, what with the kids, my job, the house, showing my dog, volunteering, etc.
