    Wink ~Thursday Things~

Good morning. It is cold here.....about 22* for a high. I am up and going, have been since about 6 am Eastern time...

Have a loss leader chicken and a package of loss leader chicken breasts stewing for making chicken and rice soup....also made 2 dozen mini blueberry muffins for breakfast today..will freeze what is left. Built back up the fire in the fireplace...and won't be spending any $ today....that is always good!
I need to do laundry and get together final receipts for taxes today too.....a lot going on. Have a great one all....

It's cold here as well. I've been up and about since 5:30. I've worked really long days this week. Not hard days as I've been able to float the village and such while waiting on things to run. They have been draining though because of basically staying on one spot all day long. The goal for today is to get someone to pick up a co-worker I've been giving a lift to (still no power at thier house and lines down on thier vehicle) so that I can leave today with enough time to make a grocery run and actually cook dinner.

Tommorrows list of to dos will be long. As for today though if I can get that done I'll be excited.

It's really, really cold here and I am procrastinating about going to the dog park. I need to just suck it up and go. Zippy is bouncing around letting me know it's time.

I want to go to BJs today to pick up a few things and get some OAMC in the freezer.

DS's car is still at the shop so I will have to schlep him around today ~ I think he want s to get himself a new pair of shoes.

    That's it for me

I have found that my list of things to do gets longer and longer as I go through the week because I end up not doing everything that I need to earlier in the week. Oh well...lol.

I have taco soup in the crockpot today so cooking dinner is one less thing that I have to do when I get home. I need to get a couple of loads of laundry done, clean my office, and straighten the living and dining room. As long as I don't sit down in front of the TV I will be fine. :-)

Up at 5:30 here as well. One load of laundry folded and the loads switched over. Bills being paid now. Made toast for breakfast today so that cut down on some time. Still have my to-do list I started yesterday to finish up today. DS works and is up moving now. No shopping really to get done today. Only thing I need to pick up is cabbage for dinner Sunday and gatorade for my liquid fast for Monday (having colonoscopy on Tuesday - joy).

Not much going on here! It's cold now (about 3 degrees), but it is suppose to warm up to about 30, which is going to feel like a heat wave!

I need to get the garbage out ASAP! I was late getting it out last week and totally missed them (In my defense...they came early)! So my cans are full from 2 weeks of recycling!

I'll do some dishes from last night & breakfast this morning.

I have about 1 load of laundry sitting, and since it is DH's work stuff, I'll get it done, so he has long underwear for tomorrow, although I doubt he'll need it, since it is suppose to be almost 40!

Other than that, I might do some crafting and sewing. Picked up some books at the library on soapmaking, and a friend sent me a website too look at on the same subject, so I'll check those out. (We are planning on making soap from scratch this summer).

It'll be a no spend day around here too. Don't plan to leave the house...still undecided if I will put on real clothes or just work around the house in my PJ's today!

I'm not doing anything thrifty today expect for going thrifting...
Dinner is done, we are just having left over chili from last night. I have been trying to cook enough for two meals. So I only have to run the oven/crockpot once.

I'm off work today and already put dishes away and washing towels in cold water. Don't have a vehicle so I'm staying home and out of the stores. Will go grocery shopping today after we go & clean the church. Having turkey tacos for dinner w/corn.

Warm here today! Gonna get up to 41! WHOO!

I have a lot I need to do, including birthday party prep.

I've got to do the daily basics--dinner, laundry, dishes.

I've got to write a thank you card as well as a letter.

I would like to plug our info in on turbo tax and get an estimate of our return so I can start budgeting that money.

I have to run to Costco to return a product effected by the PB recall, as well as pick up items for the birthday party.

I have to bake two cakes to assemble into a rocket cake, make a sheet cake, make regular cupcakes and mini cupcakes (which will be assembled into rocket cupcakes).

I also need to sweep and mop my kitchen, dining room, bathroom and entryway. I need to vacuum the bedrooms, living room, office and stairway. I need to dust throughout the house.

I will also be wrapping presents.

Of course I can't start the majority of this until I get off work today at 4. Sigh.

It is sunny and cool this morning, but supposed to get up in the 60's! I have already walked the treadmill and completed the pet chores, but I think I will wait on the linens till around noon so I can put them on the line.I am going to spend the morning cleaning the insides of my kitchen cabinets and wiping down and polishing the cabinet fronts.I am going to wash the kitchen curtains and hang them out. This afternoon I will try to get my car vacuumed out and washed. Then.... oh yes.... you know..... I'm gonna play tennis!YES!Have a great Thursday everyone.

    Wow, Yankeemom, we're having a heat wave, I guess. It's 6 here.

Trash day, and the cans are at the curb.
Have NO idea what to have for dinner. Leftovers, I think.
DH has had hiccups for most of the last 24 hours, and we don't know what's up--call in to doctor.
Dyed my hair back to blonde last night and I like it.
Going to have coffee with my sister at about 1pm. Yay!
    Knitting on my DS#2's scarf.
    Vacuum the family room.

You all are so ambitious!! I think I need to get moving here today...I have a little boy I sit each day, from 9 - 3pm, so stay busy with him until his nap time, which is usually noon. DH is doing dinner tonight, homemade chili, so my goal is to have the kitchen sparkling clean for him, including mopping the floor! Other things I need to do:

    Pick up dry cleaning
    Take DD #1 to 4H
Pick up prescriptions for DD #2
Transfer rest of flour to gallon size ziplocs

I will be in bed early tonight...so tired and so NOT WANTING TO BE!! Have a great day everyone!
