Today I returned two rugs. Went to thrift store and bought a really nice ceramic pitcher. Will be having leftovers from the freezer tonight so NO COOKING!!
Also framed some flower pictures from a calendar for the bathroom. So far the price to redo the bathroom is $6. Will probably end up spending a total of 20 to 30 dollars to redo.

Using calendar pics is one of my favorite ways to decorate. And absolutely thrifty!
So far today, I'm washing in cold water and line drying. I'll be using my leftover meatballs to make meatball parmigiana hero sandwiches on rolls I got on sale.
This is a family favorite! The big money saver will come from staying outta the stores today

I haven't done much today. Lauren is home sick, so I've mostly been caring for her.
I did make homemade vegetable soup though, 1 load laundry, and dishes. That's about it so far.

Not very thrifty today. It was payday and grocery shopping for me. About the only thrifty thing I did was hit my Amish store first and brought home a ton of stuff for $48. Then it was WM to pick up my new glasses and contacts and to finish grocery shopping. I put groceries away and made hamburgers and chips for dinner. I have to wait for fiancee to get out of the shower so I can do dishes. Then I think I will relax with a bowl of ice cream before I go to bed.

It was a beautiful sunny day here. We are going to Kentucky in the morning, so I have been picking up around here and getting packed. Our housekeeper is going to stay here so I do not have to take any of the pets to the boarders. It will be a little cheaper too, so that was a relief.I am going to do the historic tours while DH is at the races, so I will save some moohla there. If you never hear from me again, DH won big and I am following the old fool off somewhere. In other words.... see ya Tuesday.Be good!!

I had a thrifty Thursday! I almost had a no spend day, but I had to run to the fabric store to get some brown thread (which lead to purchasing $13 worth of stuff...2 patterns, thread & ribbon, which I needed for purse making and found a pattern for a cute tank top for me...so it'll save me money in the long run)!
I had a really productive day:
~Raked the woodchips out of the front yard (kids have been tearing up my flower beds)
~Put out the bird feeder with seed
~Cleaned garbage that had blown into the yard from the winter
~Picked up a winter's worth of dog poo out of the back yard (that was no small chore with 2 dogs)
~Made 3 purses
~Took Dh some extra water, becuase it was so warm
~Paid all the bills for the month and balanced the checkbook
I did some other stuff outside, but I can't remember what it all was! I should be able to have a frugal friday (and a no spend day) today!
