    Default Thrifty Thursday 5/21 plans?

    Another 12 hour work day here so not many plans other than, getting off work tonight to start my 3 day weekend. I need to do dishes when I get home but that's about it.

    Well I have to work until 2pm. Then home to get some laundry done, some dishes, and general picking up. Then we have soccer lessons, and workout time. Then home to relax and read!

    DH is up and getting ready for work. I have to be in before DS but I need to get him up so he can take care of a few things before he drops me off. Need to wake up FS and DD so that they can do more than sleep all day.

    I am planning on laundry and yard work today! I need to mow and finish up the landscaping around the pond that I started a few weeks ago! Other than that...some basic weeding. But laundry is a priority, or I'll be spending my whole weekend doing it!

    I'll hit the gym at some point today...either this morning or with DH after he gets home from work.

    Working til 4:30 today. Tonight I'll be having leftovers for supper, vacuuming and doing laundry. I need to change the sheets on the spare bed as I'm having some company this weekend. I'll also probably work on my grocery list.

    I made a chocolate mayonnaise cake and chocolate buttercream icing all from scratch. It will be delicious for dessert tonight!

    I don't have a list for today. Just picking out what I want to do as I go. So far I have gone to the thrift store and the grocery store, washed my car, washed 2 loads of laundry, laid out pork chops for supper, and fed the dogs.

    I plan on cleaning the shower and cooking supper, but that's about it for today...other than relaxing.

    ~taught school
    ~wrote a "Readers' Theater" play for next year's class
    ~baked a German Chocolate cake...yum!
    ~watered my outside plants
    ~laundry
    ~cooking supper (don't read my post in the menu challenge b/c I blew it this week!)

    Later I will:
    ~go walking with my bestest friend
    ~go by my mom's
    ~rest!

    Had a great day at school with my preschoolers
    Went to the other side after school for a meeting about summer teaching
    Came home to pick up husband


    Next:
    Take husband to the airport on the other side
    Stop for dinner at the food court on the way
    Check out Walmart for some basics
    Come home and relax


    Total driving time today = at least four hours (one hour each way to the other side - a big deal on our little island!!
