    Default Thrifty Thursday 6/4

Well I hope I got the date right today I waited till I had plenty of coffee this morning. (Actually I thought someone else might get this rolling and sav me the possibility of goofing again.)

Today is my kids first day of no school so I took the day off so they didn't have to get out of bed and go to my parents. I've been looking foward to it myself. I've puttered around this moringing. It's rainey here so it was a great day to get to be home.

    So far I've/we've:
~ played around on the computer
~ washed some bedding and curtains
    ~ iceinged some cookies
    ~ excersized
    ~ showered and brefasted
~ gathered some things for the yardsale
~ mostly cleaned the computer desk/junk collector
~ genral straighten (vaccuumm, dishes, yada yada)

    I will probably:
    ~ finish the curtains
    ~ run a couple errands
    ~ visit with my sister
    ~ make dinner
    ~ do some more laundry
~ finish cleaning the computer desk
~ have someone brush out the dogs (shed city)
    ~ bake more cookies

We're winding down our homeschool year too. We are done with outside activities, son takes the SAT this Saturday (ugh), and graduation for my daughter, our youngest, (from 8th grade) is coming quickly.

Today, I'm doing taxi duty to and from work, and then working on menu planning, and grocery list, and then we have to visit family tonight to meet my sister in law's sister who is here from the Philippines!

I've mostly ignored the housework in favor of cleaning/packing up my sewing room. I haven't used it in the past two years and cat hair is just collecting on everything, so I thought it would be good to pack up the nice fabric and the notions before they get lost or ruined.

Not a snowballs chance downunder I was going to post early this morning after yesterday. I did the same thing a couple of times while you were away. But hey, you did a great job today.
I worked another 12 hours and now I'm just unwinding before I go to bed for some much needed sleep. See you in the morning.

Worked all day, but had another no-spend day, so I guess that WAS thrifty.

I had a relatively productive thrifty thursday! I was able to weed the flower beds, get the rest of my garden walkway in, made fresh bruschetta with the herbs in my garden (had to use canned tomatoes, as mine are still green), took DS to baseball game, and did alot of cleaning indoors!

It would have been a no spend day, except that I had to take snacks for baseball, which I forgot while I was doing my weekly shopping!
