It is only 9:30 a. m. and I am already pooped. I have:
Watered the backyard
Did poopy patrol in the backyard for THREE dogs (done every morning)
Stripped the bed, washed, and hung bedclothes to dry
Removed everything from the kitchen counters
Cleaned the counters
STARTED putting everything back - rearranging so I can put my NEW Foodsaver vacuum sealer on the counter - WOO HOO!
I am typing this, cooling off, and then I am going in again.Mary

well today it was hubbys day off so we slept in a bit. i have already made the bed,we skipped breakfast, the kids had cereal,i made a nice brunch. i had already preped the stuff for tonights taco dinner so i just used some of it to make nice breakfast/brunch burritos with sausage. yummo. took a nice relaxing shower.so now i need to..clean the kitchen, pack a snack bag as we r heading out to start our look for a family dog. hopefully a nice small to med dog from the pound. go to the library take a drive to hubs work and pick up his check. do a load of laundry and spruce up the house and update my siggy and what ever spur of the moment plans we decide to do..as is a typical low key thursday around here.

Busy, busy day. I went to to store to purchase what we needed for 4th of July weekend. I made a chocolate swirl cheesecake, potted up some Swedish Ivy for a friend, washed the laundry and began to pack the Land Cruiser. We are going to Lake of the Ozarks to a friends cabin for the weekend. We leave tomorrow afternoon.Took the dogs to the pet sitters.Watered all the house plants, as well as those on the porches and the terrace.Watched a bit of tennis. Had lunch out, paid for by one of DH's friends- surprise treat!I still need to clean up the kitchen, do my workout, then have a bath and fall into bed. Hope you had a nice day!

It was another 12 hour work day for me. I came home fixed us a hamburger, sent hubby on his way to work, and now I'm just relaxing a little. I have the next 3 days off work and I'm soooo looking forward to no alarm at 6am. I probably should get those dishes done but phhht, they will be there in the morning.Yawn.

Pretty frugal here today. Didn't go anywhere, spend any money. Took care of the ducks and knitted. My type of day.
