Thrifty Thursday 3/18
Good morning everyone. I'm getting ready to go to work. It's payday so I'll be heading to the bank after work. I need to pick up something quick for dinner because DH wants to take a quick Harley ride. I need to get the grocery list made up because I'm taking 1/2 day off tomorrow for my birthday and gettitng the shopping done early so DH can take me out Saturday to my favorite Mexican restuarant. Hope you all enjoy your day.

Good morning!
Today's a busy day for us here. After sending one child off to school, I have to shower and get the other one dressed. I also need to pay bills before we go. We're going to the mall today so that he can get his teeth cleaned. After that, I'm getting a much-needed haircut. We have to get DS6 some outdoor shoes, so that's in our plan as well. (It's so not thrifty today.) Once we're done with that, we're getting lunch and heading home.
But before we get home, I have to stop and pick up something quick for tonight. We have a 5:30 PTC at DS11's school, so that means I need to make dinner before we go so that the kids don't yell that they want fast food at us.
After all of that, I need to do a load of laundry and then get the kids into bed.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

Today was another day at home. Limited heat on. Very little electricity used. Meals were brought to me due to the leg. I registered for some freebies and posted to blog. Good spring break day. Received reimbursement checks for prescriptions. This was a great news because I wasn't sure they were going to cover the prescription. Hope you guys have a great day.

DS and I slept in BIG TIME. I didn't crawl out of bed until after 12 and he finally emerged from his bed around 3. Gotta love being lazy during spring break. DD spent last night off and is doing the same tonight.
He and I just bummed around the house 'till DH got off work then we hit the batting cages. DS's new thing is to drive around the parking lot after he hits. So, DH let him drive a few laps before we headed home. We are getting him a new truck for his 15th birthday in a few months and he cannot wait to drive on something other than a parking lot.
Now we are all just hanging around the house, watching TV and playing video games.DD (19)

How is your dad doing Libby? Scary times - he's lucky to have you and your care!!
Today and probably for the next few weeks, my spare time is going to be spent sewing. Visited a friend at the high school this morning and picked up some sewing notions from her. Then I was off to physical therapy. Three days in a row was not as bad as I thought it was going to be - progress!!
I just bathed as we are going out to dinner tonight with friends visiting from California - hope there will be time to visit them where they stay - it's lovely!!
Gotta go - have a great evening all!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Thanks for asking...very scary indeed. He 'seems' to be ok but he's also very old school and stubborn and will say he's alright when he's not. As for keeping him cooped up at home today - I'm sure he'll be stir crazy tomorrow. I'll have to see how he is in the am before even consider taking him out.
