Another week whizzes by!! What are your plans for today?

I am heading out to the dermatologist for a check up and then taking advantage of being on the other side whherre all the good shopping is.

Planning on stopping by Walmart, Sears and Savers - will see how much I actually get to do.

Home to physical therapy by noon and then I'll see how the rest of my day shapes up!!

    Have a great Friday everyone!!

I'm trying to do my cleaning today, so that I can enjoy most of the weekend. DH and I are going to the market to stock up on some deals.

We just got home from doing errands and having lunch out so now I need to finish ironing and put laundry away, unload the dishwasher and pickup the house.

I am doing all our laundry and cleaning in case this tropical storm knocks our power out. Probably won't, but it won't hurt to be prepared just in case.

I've made today a "cooking day".
Had several tomatoes that were getting a touch old, so I decided to make homemade Bolognese Sauce.

Needed to do something with a small bag of apples, so made baked apples...and I'm going to make a apple and peach crisp.

I've got peaches that have been in the fridge for several days...so I'll probably wash, dry, dice, and freeze them.

Had some nice squash that I needed to use up, so I baked a huge pan of squash, onions, cabbage, and potatoes with salt, pepper, and butter...pretty good!
I can serve that for a couple of days as a side dish and for lunch.

HHmmmm...thinking about cooking a pot of rice to have to use for the rest of the week or to freeze...

Also need to wash and dice up my romaine lettuce for salads...

    Cook dinner...

THEN I need to work on laundry and the house....

Well I certainly made the most of the clothing sales on the other side!! Got lots of tops, several slacks, a skirt and some underwear. It is going to be so nice to have clothing that makes me feel good, fits and looks good!!

Stopped by to do my pool exercises, now to cleaning up the house, doing laundry and checking out some boxes in my sewing/craft room.

DH is in charge of dinner!!

I have been on vacation and MISSED this! aah, it's good to be home at the Village!

i got a call around lunch today that my brother and his wife and my niece were on their way to my house for the weekend. ACK! So, after quickly spot cleaning and preparing a bedroom, I am now relaxing and enjoying the evening!

Looking forward to catching up on everything this weekend!
