    Good morning,
Happy Birthday to my oldest dd! Blueberry muffins are made and waiting for her to come downstairs. I should find a candle for her to blow out for her muffin, but I'm sure I'll get an eye roll out of it! lol

No work for me today, HOORAY! I was slowly burning out this week, so it was a much-needed break. This morning I need to come home and start cleaning a bit. Laundry is starting to build up again, and I need to do something about the ginormous paper pile taking over my kitchen counter. Grr, it never ends!

Then before lunch I need to head into town and pick up dd's tv for her birthday. I am nervous about lifting it. Not that they are heavy, just awkward. Then I am off to eat lunch with dd at school.

Tonight is actually quite mellow. She opted to have her special birthday supper when dad is home this weekend, so it will be simple and quiet tonight. She requested cheesecake, which I'll have to pick up while I'm in town as I am simply unable to whip one of those up!

No activities tonight, double yay! We are just going to enjoy our day! Have a great one!

Happy Birthday to your dd Vanessa and enjoy the day off.
Not much going on here but some puttering. I haven't posted here because I haven't had much to say, lol. Still don't.
Went to the grocery store yesterday, big trip out, driving less than 5 min away. Could have walked but had too much to carry. So we'll be home for the next who knows how many days, lol, sitting fireside & staying warm. Looking forward to warmer weather so we can get out & do. Going to be getting out of this super cold weather after today & I'm happy about that. Cat still doing her thing in below 0 weather & loves it when temps get above freezing, she's gone for hours. Come on Spring!

Dinner is going to be Macaroni & Cheese and a salad. Easy and tastes so good. Comfort food for the doldrums of February.
Hope your day is full of comforting things.

    Morning all

Today's a lazy day. After cooking up some pot luck lunch for DH to take to work last night and having an awesome dinner, it's clean-up day around here. The dishwasher's loaded and I've already had lunch, so I'll be full until dinner when we have some oven bbq chicken with rice and carrots.

DS7 comes home for lunch soon, then he has an early dismissal at 2:10. His friend from school is coming here for about an hour and a half, so he's excited about that. I'm all caught up with laundry, but I just have a load or two to put away. I do have to vacuum the playroom, lowest level, DS12's room and the laundry room. On top of that, I'm going to vacuum the main floor and make the beds.

It's nicer outside today than it's been in a few days, so hopefully some more of this snow will melt. I should go out and sprinkle more ice melter so the kids don't slip on their way home.

    Have an awesome day!

I'm late but I'm here. Not much happening today. About the only thing I did was finish reading a book. Geeze I can't wait to get back to work. It's fend for yourself night as far as dinner goes. I haven't told DH yet and he hasn't asked. He hates FFYN's.

    very preoductive day..no yoga though...

unloaded and put away dishwasher, reloaded, straightened up kitchen, disinfected all bathrooms, door knobs and tv remotes in the house, wiped down outside of frig, washed all throw rugs and put them back out, swept and swiftered kitchen, foyer and LR and DR. steam mopped up salty wet messy spots in foyer and kitchen. downloaded some stuff on itunes. showered. dropped off books that were due tomorrow at library. went to bank. got the car washed - it was nasty w/ salt and snow and making marks on black coats and yoga pants...put away three loads of clean towels. picked up dd at school...took her to wendys..then off to a special math program she does once a week. came home, let the dogs out, helped dd w/ homework. started decorating her valentines box....she is now in bed and i am relaxing. looking forward to lunch tomorrow w/ a friend.

I went over and cleaned my MIL's house today. Her home health aide is sick and her house was bothering her. She's wheelchair bound.
