thrifty thursday 1/19/12

Feeling really good today. Got lots of sleep, house is the cleanest it's been in a while, made some extra dinner to bring for leftovers for lunch, not spending any money. At work now, but tonight going to do a little cleaning and then head to a nature group meeting to connect with friends I haven't seen in a while. Awesome!

cooked dinner with what was here, built a fire in the fireplace. a nice frugal but cold day

Oh, I would have LOVED a fire tonight. But my firewood is still too green to burn it without it being a big fight.

Went to school and worked my butt off trying to get caught up in grading as the 9 weeks is almost over. I made a significant dent.

Came home and on the way seriously, seriously, considered stopping for some Chinese but then I thought I'd just go get it when I went back out to get gas. When I got home instead I toasted a pita with hummus and red pepper and had the remainder of my granola, soy yogurt, blueberries, shredded wheat and toasted almonds. That's it for din-din for me. Now I'm not even going out for gas-will get it tomorrow so no spend day for me!
