Thrifty Thursday

Good morning! Still quiet here with just me and Courtney! The girls called last night, they went to Busch Gardens yesterday. There was a storm coming, and Ashlee was in line for a roller coaster. MIL went up to get Ashlee out of line and the girl wouldn't let her out. MIL made such a stink, they called security!

The security guy was cool and told them to take shelter, there was a bad storm coming, and he let Ashlee out of line. Ashlee is still embarrassed, lol.

They sound like they are having fun!

We are leaving for Gettysburg on Saturday, just for one night. I should plan out our meals today, see what restaurants are available. I stocked up on PB and J yesterday, so I might take a bunch of sandwiches with me.

Today:
general pickup-house stays clean when no one is here!

make bed
clean shower and sink in bathroom
make cheesecake
maybe some OAMC
sweep front sidewalk
weed flowerbed
straighten up deck
check out weather channel, I think there is a hurricane coming in the next week! I love to track them! They are cool!

It's beautiful here today! I have to work tonight, so DH and I will use our Chili's gc tomorrow before the girls come home.

Goodmorning everyone!
Today is one of those days I woke up tired. Think I'll go lay down for an hour. Everyone here including the cat is still sleeping so only you guys will know.

Not too much going on today (laundry,etc.)but I do know that I am not going anywhere. Too much running around the past couple of days.
Not sure what's for dinner but it will include something from the freezer & our first harvest of Swiss Chard. This chard is so pretty,it's called Bright lites and the stems are yellow,orange and red.

Change Bedding on DD and our Beds.
Make up the beds.
Laundry.
Dishes.
Sweep.
Mop.
Dust.
Vacuum.
Walk the Dogs.
Exercise.
Declutter.
Feed the Animals.
Study.
*Do Daily Devotionals. *
Clean Kitchen
Clean Laundry Room.
Clean Bedrooms.
Clean bathrooms.
Change Kitty Litter.
Take out Garbage.
Fix Dinner.
Relax.

Got another full day of shops, fun ones though

Gotta do 2 loads of wash
vacuum
Dinner is chinese beef and brocolli.

Hair appointment at 12:30

Need to take back something at Walmart

get prescriptions filled

make dinner and do some vacumming in family room

I have the day off and I don't feel very good, that seems to be the norm anymore......

I have 3 1/2 gallon sized ziplock bags full of frozen blackberries from my bush ...(YIPPIE ) I am going to make a couple of pies(freeze one) and make some freezer jam....... I am so excited.. Doing a little OAMC today....

Good morning--or should I say afternoon?

I didn't roll out of bed until 9am!

Today is going to be a lazy day-- my only plans are to go swimming this afternoon with my friend.

I need to go pull something out of the freezer for dinner.

Well I am at work, from 8:00 am to 11:00 we had NO POWER, not a bit, we were sitting by the front door of the office trying to get alittle bit of air...but me and all the meds I take had me sweating really good................i was totally miserable...We had a really bad storm around 3:00 am this morning (windy, hailing, lightening) and someone ran into a power pole on the road I work on..

So about an hour again the rain started again, but has stopped now --i think it is supposed to rain tonight too..

After work I wanted to work outside some more but probably won't be able to so I will:

Play with puppy
Relax
Sort coupons and get ready for groceries this weekend
Dust
Declutter some more

I don't have much planned here today other than the usual. I do need to sort through some clothes, do laundry, pick cherries and maybe do an ice cream run ( great sale today but my freezers are stuffed). I'm in kind of a funk today and think that everything is just hitting me all at once. I am doing better than I was earlier though thanks to some great cyber hugs and my private concert by my twins!

Well I woke up to a wonderful email from my computer science teacher saying that she had to cancel class!!!

So, I went back to bed for a while!

Up now, so I guess I will start to ramble a bit at 11:47 am!!!

I have homework in every class so I guess Iwill begin to do it as it is due...Dance class tomorrow so that is first!

Thursday was an awesome day for us!

Carl even said that it was the most fun day he's had in a long time

We all went out to the pool, and then to the park with ayla...and just spent lots of quality time together. In the evening he went out to the porch to sand a guitar and I came out and ended up doing a french manicure to my toenails while a neighbor girl played with Ayla. oh! And I got a lot of chores done in the morning and made belgian waffles. It was just a really pleasant day all in all.

And best of all I don't recall spending any money at all!!!
