Thrifty Thursday

Good morning! Very foggy here today

I just hung out 1/2 load of laundry to join yesterday's that didn't dry. It's supposed to be nice today, hopefully the sun will come out soon and burn off this fog.

I have so much to do to get ready for vacation, I don't know where to start! Yesterday I wrote out all of the bills, now I just have to get DH to part with the money to cover them. We'll have to advance his paychecks from the savings to get the bills paid while we are gone. I hope to mail them all out next week.

So far:
dishes
cleaned top of refrigerator
fed Courtney and myself
hung out 1/2 load laundry, other half in dryer
tidied bathroom

To Do:
make bed
mend DH clothes (huge pile

)
put away yesterday's laundry
finish basement cleanup-heater being serviced tomorrow

start clearing off books in DD's room-got a new dresser (yard sale of course)
mystery shop for lunch-also scope out where football game is tomorrow night-same errand

working tonight-just me and doc-no nurse

hope the phone doesn't ring, lol

Well, I'm home sick today. I HATE being sick and didn't want to stay home, especially because I have a student teacher who is teaching all my classes anyway. It's not like I'm overworking myself at school, but when dh pointed out that I didn't do too much at school yesterday, yet continued to get worse as the day went on, I realized that maybe for mine and the baby's sake, I should just take a day off and chill in my jammies. The only thing I can take is regular Sudafed, which is helping a bit, but not a ton. Oh well, I'll survive.

Anyway, since I just don't quite have it in me to sit around and do NOTHING all day, I've got some stuff to do.

1. Fold all laundry while I watch Regis & Kelly. (mixing the relaxing with the working)
2. Empty the dishwasher.
3. Run to ShopRite to get some more free soap and waffles.
4. Sweep. (Not relaxing, but it must be done.)

It's finally going to be nice today!I feel much better today,I went to bed at 7:30 last night and didn't get up till 6 this morning.I think I needed the sleep.

To do today:
-wash kids sheets
-wash and hang 2 loads laundry
-make beds
-dishes
-trip to ingles
-clean kids rooms
-straighten up house
-mop kitchen floor(needs it bad)
-make dinner

Hello all! It is windy here today but thankfully no rain!! I have not felt too good today. So I mostly have just laid around. I did manage to sweep the living room though.

DD and DH both have a four day weekend this weekend. We don't have any plans though so we will probably just hang out at home.
