    Default Thrifty Thursday

Good morning and Happy Thursday! Today is going to be THRIFTY THURSDAY for me! I am going
to chant all day long, “I will not go shopping, I will not go shopping”

I am going to start this month off right and stay away from “deals”

I even went through all my coupons to trade last night and sent them off just to get them out of the house.
That way I won’t be tempted to spend. I’m going to see if I can wait until next week to do any grocery
    shopping.

I went to the dentist this morning and got a free toothbrush, toothpaste and floss! Luckily my insurance
    paid for my entire visit.

I did buy gas this morning, but that is a necessity.

    Plans for today:

    Work 7am-4pm
    Make Dinner
    Pack Lunches
    Do some housecleaning

    B - Yogurt, Coffee, Cereal
    L - Spag & Meatballs
D - Mac & Cheese and Hotdogs??? (Forgot to defrost something)

Definitely NOT thrifty for me today. On the way to the gas shop, which now I realize I should not have taken on, I got stopped by the police at a motor vehicle checkpoint. Imagine my surprise when the officer kindly informs me that my vehicle is UNREGISTERED, and has been since February!!!! Apparently, when we bought the van and changed over the tags in November, they were due again in Feb, they must have sent me the paperwork with the OLD CAR on it, and I threw it away. Luckily they did not tow my car, because I had all the kids with me. I told the officer this was not the norm for me, he was very nice, told me he would help me get the charges changed in court. I took my fanny right to motor vehicle and got legal again. Total cost? Ticket: $44.00 Motor Vehicle registration: $61.00. The gas mystery shop money will now pay my ticket.

Finished that, then went to Applebee's for another mystery shop for lunch. I was supposed to take DD2 to the doctor for her 3rd Hepatitis b shot, but rescheduled for tomorrow. What a day....

    So far I have:

    Broken the law
    made bed
    fed and changed baby
did 2 mystery shops (gas and lunch)
    went to motor vehicle
    dishes
    mailed ebay stuff

I would like to accomplish today:

    general pickup of livingroom
    take clothes to the camper
    plan dinner
    dust bedroom
    take down laundry
ice cream mystery shop after 6

I think I need a mystery shopping break this month. I'm not going to take as many jobs, also because I am going away. Once the girls are back in school, things will calm down around here.

    Breakfast: McDonalds hotcakes and sausage
Lunch: Applebees chicken fajita rollup and house salad
    Dinner: ????

    Have a frugal day!

Today is going to be another busy day for me..I think I'm going to stock up on a lot of things now that August is here and I have a bigger budget

Aunt Flo came for a visit, and I am having KILLER lower back cramps
So I am really on my last nerve with everything Ayla does and it makes me feel like a horrible person!

Did about 45 minutes of Step Aerobics/crunches/weights
Started getting Ayla ready for the day/gave her cheerios
Played outside in the dirt for about half an hour, ayla's friend came to play with her too

    Now I need to:

    Get showered(done)
Take her for a walk, mail the thank you notes(done except for the one i need an address for)
