Thunderstorm Thursday
Oh, I love to be awakened in the middle of the night by that low rumble of thunder and and the dog shaking the bed. lol
Our rain started at about 3am and is still going on and off.
Moving went very well with grandma yesterday. Thank goodness my sisters and I had already done 99.9 percent of her stuff. The only thing I forgot and had to go back for were her pills. But it was an easy fix. Mom and Dad went along and had lunch with her in the new diningroom and I mean new this place is only 6 monthes old and so far only half full.
We had a change in our work schedule last night the project manager called for the Carrabba's in Plant City that we just finished he wants us to come and repaint the bathrooms a different color!! Little do these guys know that this is NOT an easy or quick task. DH went off to do that this am with his unhappy camper face on. Me I'm smiling because its an EXTRA and I can see Christmas family dinner being paid for!
Up at 6am
DH off to work at 7am
Dressed, bed made, only one cup of go juice so far
Cleared mailbox - Taste of Home Site has a great deal on cookbooks some are $5.00 each special code is 301. Got a few, bad me.
Fed fur bags
Now have to get DD up, fed and dropped at scholl
Then over to pick up new company shirts I order last week.
Down to Sarasota to touch up at a job after cabinets and carpet and furniture went in. Always some little marks.
Then home to sort and post some stuff to freecycle from pile in garage. Have got a whole pile of stuff that needs to go bye-bye.
Dinner tonight is leftover mini meat loaves (2) and a big bowl of beef-a-roni.

Thunderstorm Thursday is right! It's sprinkling off & on here, but we are expecting thunderstorms later this afternoon. I think they will be whoppers because it's 62* right now and a cold front is coming...that always means big thunder bumpers. I'm not looking forward to it because it scares the dogs so badly. The last time we had thunder, there was ONE crack of thunder and my biggest dog crapped on the floor
It's funny now, but it wasn't at the time lol.
I have already:
~loaded & run the dishwasher
~washed the extra pans
~wiped down the stove
~cleaned off the kitchen table
~cleaned off the counter (what little there is)
~wiped down the table & counter
~put a fresh table cloth on the dining room table
~vacuumed the living room, mudroom, kitchen area rugs, dining room, office, foyer, & my bedroom
~made my bed
~picked up the living room, mudroom, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, & bathroom (the toys migrate!!)
~wiped down the bathroom surfaces
~showered
~washed & dried two loads of laundry
~folded one load of laundry
~took out stuff for dinner
All I have to do today is finish my laundry. I'm going to go work on dh's socks. They are never going to be done by Christmas. I'm still on the first sock and I haven't even turned the heel yet

Morning all---no thunderstorms here, just dreary weather. I've been up since 4 with the baby. He was in a mood to play. I didn't go work out---shame on me.
I work from 7-11, should have been an easy day for me today, but we had a girl call in, so I've had a lot larger workload at the bank. My mil is picking the baby up and keeping him for the afternoon so she gets her grandma fix and she is taking us to dinner tonight.
While I get the afternoon off from baby, I'm going to Target for some cleaner and presents, then to Hy-Vee for groceries, then to Walgreens for All laundry detergent. Once I get home, I am putting groceries away, then I am cleaning. Once I get everything clean, I am going to put up my Christmas Shopping.McD

The weather here is absolutely beautiful today, it is a little chilly but the sun is shining and the sky is a breathtaking blue. I plan on taking our new furbaby, Harley, outside to play in his pen while I sit and read in the sunlight.
I have gotten a couple of loads of laundry done so far, still need to do a few more.
Need to mop kitchen and clean the kitchen windows.
Need to go through magazine pile and keep the ones with recipes I want to keep and send the rest to the volunteers at the hospital.
Get supper prep done and ready to go
Hang throws and afghans outside to air out

So far I have:
*Emptied the dishwasher
*Filled it back up again
*Made coffee and breakfast for me
*Gave DS a bath (he woke up with a NASTY leaky diaper this morning)
Other than showering and getting dressed, which I'm going to do after I post this, my goals for today are:
*Finish my sewing pile (I have a few things that need buttons or seams sewn up - all repair work)
*Fold DS's laundry from Monday and a set of sheets that are already clean
*Take a look at our self-cleaning cat box. DH said something about the rake being off track and took it apart, and it's been sitting in pieces in our hallway for three weeks. I want to see if I can't figure out how to fix it and put it back togetherLoving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06) and Oliver Andrew (5/25/12)

Today is one of the nastiest, rainy, days so far. Just blustery and rainy to start with, but now it's been raining lal day. Spent all morning at doctor's offices for my physical and my DD is sick with a sinus infection. I probably won't do much the rest of the day till dinner time. Just a tiring day all around. Oh, got blood work done in between appointments too...blah

It is cold for us today - only getting into the high 50's. (yes that is cold for here). All we are doing today is getting more junk out and priced for the yard sale. Kids will do their normal chores, laundry, dishes, animals, etc...No school for atleast the rest of this week - so that is a nice break for us all.
