Thrifty Thursday

Hello and good morning! Well, I survived my first day at work, but tonight I work alone with the doctor and I feel I'm being thrown to the wolves. I didn't quite get to complete the training yesterday. I hope I do everything okay. The doc is older and very sweet. It should be fine.

Feed and change Courtney
get dressed

Take laundry off the line from 3 days ago

swish and swipe bathroom
mop floors
call about lunch mystery shop-is it today? They were going to change it, but never called me back
Go to consignment shop and drop off some stuff
put out trash (DH refused to do it

empty trash in house
make bed
clean computer screen
1 load laundry
Do some OAMC
put dinner in the crockpot, have to work tonight

HI, I have not been here in ages! I am glad to be back...just have had a lot going on with school starting back....household.
Thursday is a quiet day for me....I have tidied the home, did 3 loads of laundry and they are on the line drying. It is cloudy and overcast here with a little sun shining.....should be sunnier as the day goes by.

My dks are at school.....I am just enjoying some pc time.....supper is planned...it will be cooked in a few hours. Have a good one.....

Today Tyler and I are going Library Hopping! LOL The one we use here is very small... there are a few others not far away, we are going to check em out.

Today is a very frugal day for us, no money spent

We're just planning on spending the day at home. Going to do a bunch of cooking. Make some pasta sauce, put a roast in the crock pot, and make some brownies

Happy Thursday!

Last night I went gorcery shopping and I did very well! My entire cart was packed with stuff! It would have been $157 before club card and coupons--after was $85!!!!!

DH helped me clean up the house last night and he washed a mountain of dishes! It feels so good to have the house back in order again.

Tonight I am going to "game night" at my friends house and we are going to play Boggle.

I got a late start. I slept in until 9:45. Both my kids were still asleep! I really don't have too much to do today.

So far I have:

Taken a shower, got dressed
Met with social worker at home

I need to:

call a friend and make some plans to do something w/ her today
relax after 10 days of moving and cleaning.

Breakfast: coffee and blueberry muffins
lunch: no clue
Dinner: maybe order pizza or make meatloaf

Today my husband is getting a molar pulled..it's been long over due for it to get pulled so we are really glad..Although this most likely means a big bill since the insuracnce covers half of big dentist costs..

So far today I have,

worked out for 30 min.
Took Ayla for a 15 min walk
Went outside and played with her
Fed her/changed her
Marinated dh's chicken
Got out his breakfast
Did a load of dishes
Sent off emails
Sent paypal for coupons

Now I still need to :

Shower/do my makeup
Start laundry running (hopefully get three loads done today)
Vacuum
Do more dishes
Put lentils in the crockpot to make a loaf with..
Do a pinecone questionairre
Get stains out of my slip cover

Breakfast (which I just had at nearly 11:30!): Life cereal
Lunch: leftovers
Dinner: Chicken for dh, potato for me and some salad

Hey there
Today has been busy so far.
Cleaned my 2nd house today.
Got 4 bags of free groceries with specials and coupons.
Have to do laundry and make the sheppards pie for dinner, then I get to call it a day.
Think I;ll tan first, gotta work on my tan for the upcoming cruise

We were thifty today--only spent $1.99! We got up at 7:15 and got chores going. The boys took out the trash, each wiped down a bathroom and swept a porch (we have three). I vacuumed, mopped and did a lot of laundry. Then we went to the library and the video store. We came home, ate lunch and I laid down to get rid of a headache. I fell asleep and woke up when we were supposed to be at a birthday party! We ran to the party (only three blocks away) and the kids all had a blast. We came home and made spaghetti, salad and parmesan garlic biscuits for a cheap meal.
