Thrifty Thursday

Good morning! Should be a frugal day for me! Except I gave DH $10 this morning.

Done:
Made beds
Unloaded Dishwasher
Washed 1 load of laundry
Cheated...put in dryer!
Made lunches
Dressed and ready for another day at work!

To do:
Address and mail package from a trade
Look through sale ads
Plan grocery list
Plan menu for the next 2 weeks
Fold laundry that is waiting in the dryer

Good morning!!

It's cold and raining today

but we are in the middle of a drought so I can't complain too much. Today is pretty laid back, I need to make my grocery list and menu plan for next week, Have DS hair cut for pictures this weekend. Go to thrift store and pick up thermos for school field trip for son. Bake some banana bread for snacks after school, make pizza for dinner and oh go to the gym this morning

I only hate it the first fifteen minutes after that it's not so bad, lol.

I tried to start this thread, but the phone rang.

I am sick today :sick: with a cold, but I have to work tonight. I will try to take it easy today.

So far:
dishes
laundry started
fed baby
got dressed
made bed

To do:
call Amerihealth to switch doctors
call gyn to change appt
plan dinner for family-I go to work at 5:00
work on church cookbook
work on Christmas cards

Thats enough. I feel like crap.

Today should be pretty thrifty here.

I plan to call Once Upon A Child Stores and see if any are taking in baby clothes in the sizes I have. IF so I will take the clothes there and try to pull in some cash.

Need to return some books at the library.

Need to ship some expired coupons out to Germany.

Need to go fax a couple of forms to for a Mystery Shop.

I want to declutter our closet if I get time. I don't want to move all of this junk again... and we aren't going to have as much room when we move. So gotta get rid of some.

Good morning!! Its a wet one here!! Well Isadore came thru last night with lots of rain and wind. We are lucky no flooding.
Hubby and daughter are both home today so its gonna be a quiet tv watching day. Found out my mustang wont be ready as expected

Oh well I guess I can be a domestic goddess for a few more day!!!

Today is going to be more decluttering here also. I need to finish the downstairs. Worked on kitchen yesterday but not quite finished then, then its to our bedroom.

- washing clothes (hopefully it will warm up enough for them to dry outside.

- washing last nights dishes (hope no one reads this!!

)

- finish working on the sewing project I'm doing

A wet one here to. We're still getting rain and tornado warnings.It'll for sure be thrifty.I'm scared of storms so I'm not going anywhere but to get dd#2 from school at 1:30.

So far I've:
Put clean dishes away
made bed
picked up living room
1 load laundry washing

To Do:
Make candles
finish laundry
clean off porch
sweep carport
pick up toys
decide whats for dinner

And don't forget it's Survivor night

should be super frugal here except making a couple of ebay payments and then post office, and painting the bedroom and laundry, bed is done plan something for supper. and hope for rain.

Well good for al of you Frugalites today!! I on the other hand....

Actually it wont be to bad. Today is our 5th anniversary. And he is at work and I as usual am home with the kids. Anyway, I got a call that the little boy I watch wont be coming today, SO I am taking my girls and we are taking daddy out to an anniversary lunch. We will be going out to dinner just the 2 of us tomorrow. But I have a 30.00 gift cert to Black angus...so I wont be spending much

So far:
made bed
girls ready and fed
Me ready and fed (almost)
one load (waiting to be hung)

to do:
clean bathroom (wrote dh a message with lipstick on the mirror...hope it comes off easy)

do dishes
hang laundry out
work on Holiday planner
go have lunch with dh

Another wet one here! It is very rainy here. I hate rain, but we need it.

Won't be a frugal day here. The battery in our truck died yesterday, so dh has to go into town this evening and buy a new one, if he gets home in time.

I didn't get a lot of housework done yesterday because dh was off from work, but the house is still pretty clean.

My list:
make bed
sweep
pick up
dishes
put laundry away
hang more up upstairs

Good to see you around simplemom!

So far today I have done an hour long workout (yay my buns feel more like steel, and it feels easier to walk now too!)

I am making orange juice and have switched the wet clothes to the dryer, and folded my neighbors dry clothes..

I brushed hair and did makeup..so that I could go outside to do the laundry

Still need to :

Go back to target to get another valence (i got drapes finally but I'm one short..didnt know it'd be not wide enough) so the house looks MUCH better now!

Put away coupons whenver ayla is asleep or busy

Do more dishes/putaway clean ones
organize pantry

Remind dh to get quarters

Catch up on my emails from family

Start preparing a shopping list

Sign up for Albertsons new card (hate that they have it but what can i do)

Take Ayla for a walk and maybe even the POOL

Try the 15 min. timer thing for cleaning the house in general

Breakfast: O.J. and either bread and peanut butter or cereal, and apple and some raisins

Lunch: Salad with chicken

Dinner: bacon wrapped filet mignon, cheese garlc biscuits and?? what would go with that?
