    Default Tuesday 5/5 plans?

I'm drinking my second cup of coffee at the moment, waiting for fiancee to get up and go to work so I can get busy. I have to..
    -do breakfast dishes-
    -rearrange cabinets-
-last load of laundry, hang dry-
    -sweep and mop kitchen-
    -finally plant my flowers-
-use up leftover roast, I'm thinking beef fajitas in honor of Cinco De mayo-

    Happy Cinco de Mayo!

I came in to work early this morning. I really need to get stuff done around the house (lots of laundry to fold!) so hopefully i can cut out of here a bit early.

    Nothing too exciting today

    Working on:
    Get under 200 lbs. 44/47lbs

Out and Back home already this am. Dear Friend called last night at 9pm she was doing a veggie pick up and needed me to come by early.
I have 4 cases of head lettuce, 6 cases of romaine, a cease of celery and a case of tomaotes. Made stops at several friends on the way home and drop off boxes and piles. Still have way too much. Will spend the day passing out stuff.
Need to vaccum and mop floors house smells like dogs
Need to go do an inventory count on sunglasses this am
Have to drive DD to cheerleading pratice this afternoon
Think we'll have taco salad tonight to eat up some of this bounty and celebrate Cino De Mayo.

I had my day all planned out, but then my youngest woke up with a sore throat at 3:30 this morning! So more than likely, he'll be home today. No fever, so I don't think we'll need a trip to the doctor, but I'm crossing my fingers that he was just sleeping with his mouth open since his nose was plugged up and that is what caused the sore throat and not strep or something like that!

So, here is what I know I will do today:
~Get older son ready and off to school
    ~Do dishes
    ~Fold laundry
    ~sweep floors
~work in the yard, if it doesn't rain (it's looking questionable)
    ~Defrost something for dinner
    ~Make some granola
~Clean up my bedroom and get rid of the pile of old clothes that came out of the closet yesterday

Here is what I'd like to do:
~Get to the gym (but I don't want to take a sick kid to the babysitting area, so we'll see)
    ~Get a b-day gift for a b-day party on Saturday
~Go to Dh's softball game tonight

My truck is currently out of commission and hubby hasn't been able to ride the motorcycle to work much over the last couple of weeks due to the weather.

BUT he rode the bike today! Hopefully I can call my hairdresser and get my hair cut today. It is weeks past due.

    I have already:

    Put out the garbage
Broke up/vacuumed sealed 3 pkgs of chicken breasts & put in freezer
Packed an order and printed postage
    Had my coffee
Strawberries and fruit leather in the dehydrator

Off to take a shower and get dressed so I can be ready at 9 to call hairdresser and be ready in case she can take me immediately.

I won 2nd place! Made it to the top 4 finalists for the ultimate biker makeover!

Well, today is BUSY BUSY! I SHOULD be doing laundry, but it will wait!

My younger brother is coming to Helena today to get sworn in as a licensed attorney, and I am going along to take pictures of the momentous occasion!

In the surrounding time, I need to straighten up the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. It's also garbage day, so I need to haul a load to the dump.

I need to stop in at the car shop and pay for the work that is being done on my trusty minivan.

Tonight, it is my ds's first baseball game of the season. I will watch the first part of it, then hustle over to the kids' school where a PTO meeting is taking place. From there I will go to a different room in the school where they are discussing going to a 4 day school week for the local area high school. WHEW! I think I'll just go back to bed...

    Happy Cinco de Mayo!!

Vacuum sealed 4 lbs of dehydrated strawberries and wrapped up 4 sheets of fruit leather
    Cleaned stove
    Filled and ran dishwasher
    Ate lunch
dinner will be some kind of leftovers

NOW it is time to relax a bit!

I pretty much have the same day as yesterday. Got 2 dd's off to school, took dog for a walk, washed a load of laundry and hung to dry, watered the garden got ready for work and here I am until 5. I will pick 1 dd up from her softball game then head home to fix a quick dinner, clean up the kitchen. Relax at 8 and bed at 9.

What I was suppose to do eeek:

1.Clean kitchen (it's been a mess since DD 3rd birthday party)
2.Clean up diningroom (make shift playroom with all the young neices who were staying in town) and put all the diningroom furniture back in place
3.Straighten up livingroom, put large load of toys back upstairs in the playroom
    4. Clean bathroom
    5. Rewash towels that have been sitting in the washer for 3 days...
    6. Make dinner.

I've accomplished the dinner part so far...I've been dealing with an EXTREMELY grumpy 3 yr old today as it's been raining for a week and she's getting a bit of cabin fever. I did bake a loaf of bread today to go along with the pork tenderloin and veggies. My best friend is coming over soon, so I may bribe her to entertain DD so I can atleast get the shoefly pie encrusted pie pan scrubbed out and the kitchen cleaned up. DH was so sweet and emptied the dishwasher, but...he didn't really know where stuff went so I have clean dishes teetering in different piles all over the kitchen...poor man, this is why I give him a break from household duties.

Today was pretty simple. Headed over to Superstore to look for garden border, no luck there. Picked up some bulbs for the flower garden at the cost of $2.00 per package. I got three packages; one package with 12 Freesias and two packages with 10 Gladiolus.

I also found the old garden border that came with the house, but there's not enough to cover the sides of the garden. Alas, I'm off to Home Depot tomorrow to buy some more (because Rona is too far from the train) unless I can find garden border for a better price at Home Hardware.

Oh, I still need to attach the rotisserie kit to the grill but it looks like it's going to storm today. Now I get to figure out what to make for dinner with a storm brewing overhead.

The first part of my day was pretty lazy. I didn't sleep well last night, so I spent much of the morning resting.

Then I got my butt up and paid some bills, cleaned the kitchen, played on the internet, and did some major decluttering in the sewing/computer room.

When I was done with that, I cut out a pair of pj's for Lauren (to sew). I didn't have time to do much sewing because then it was time to double check the kids' homework and put dinner on. I'm waiting for it to finish cooking now.

I hope tomorrow will be a more productive day, but I'm not displeased with today's achievements.
