I plan on spending the day working around the house and cleaning. I hope to finish up painting the bathroom...only one wall left.
Then I have a bridesmaids dress I need to get altered, so I'll be spending the day looking for a tailor who can take the dress down 4 sizes..we'll see if I can find someone to do it!

Well, these are the things that I want/plan to do, how many I get done depends on how long I stay online!
~I have some jeans that need some patching, so I'm gonna try to get started on those today.
~I spray painted an old filing cabinet to use in my 16 ds. room as a night table.
So I'll be moving some things around and I'll be getting him to straighten some things up.
~I plan on getting started on my other 'quilted curtain' panel today.
I have finally finished one, but need to get the other one finished up, so that I can get them hung over the weekend.
~I'll be mixing up the marinade and prepping the chicken for fajitas that we'll be having for dinner.
That's about it.Michelle in middle Tennessee!
Ever so slowly rebuilding my stockpile...

Took the kids to their two hour morning swim practice and iced down the drinks I'll sell in the concession stand tonight (wow, concession stand is way over-stating it, it's two tables in the hallway outside the pool
)
Tour of real estate agents came by to look / see / give their opinions - I just want my house sold!!
Got to return some phone calls, one about a speaking engagement I hope!!!
DS is to play a doubleheader tonight - if the rain stops
Clean out the back closet where the catcher's gear lives (and I think it IS a lifeform)
The never-ending laundry
Vacuum out my car (again, if it ever quits raining)
DD has a swim meet (so doues DS if it's raining and baseball is called off)
And that leads me to my dilemma - the season premiere of 'The First 48' is tonight, DIRECTLY OPPOSITE 'Deadliest Catch' !!! It's as if they're trying to drive me crazy trying to pick (Thank goodness for DVR)

Working the night shift 'cause they never have meetings at 3am!

Using up leftover turkey breast in a casserole for dinner. Just me and the kids, Dh is on to job#2.
Started recycling the water taken from the dehumidifier to water the garden/flowers outside. I think I was wasting water using the hose.
Going to the bread store with a coupon for buns for a picnic.

Today was the first workshop at the library here in town as part of their summer reading program for the kids. It was a photography workshop. Tyler loved it. They learned about what makes a good photograph and then they got to break into groups and take digital photos of eachother. They printed the photos out afterwards so each kid got to bring a set home. Tyler also got a prize for reading a half hour each day during the week, a cool pencil!
Next week is a copper tooling workshop, but I have court that day so we will miss it.
Week after is a ventriloquist show and puppetry workshop. That should be fun!
I have the crusts rising as we speak for my homemade pizzas! One pepperoni and one ranch, chicken, and broccoli. Yum!Sherry

There are a lot things I should be doing around the house today, but for some reason I am feeling off. I think that I am coming down with a cold or something.
So, I am taking it easy today in hopes that I don't get sick.
The only thing that have to get done today is to edit the community briefs and calendar for the community newspaper.Julie

What a wild day it was! We had a tornado touch down in our area and took out the power all over our little county. We had to use our generator for the last 22 hours, just had the power restored.Made sure all our family and neighbors were ok, then our friends . We also went to do our health screens- we are getting an additional $250 yearly savings and a reduced rate on our gym membership as our screens were excellent. All the hard work pays off, and it feels great to be fit and to save money.Took a long hot bath and I am going
to bed.
