Happy Tuesday! It's my day off from work so I have tons of housework to get done. I have one load of laundry done and in the dryer(it's supposed to rain AGAIN!), another load in the washer and I just got the dishwasher going. I still need to finish cleaning up the kitchen and mop the floor and clean my bathroom.
I also need to make a menu for the week. Money is so tight and we have another HUGE house payment to make next Tuesday so I have very very little for groceries right now!
I think dh is taking the kids to visit his parents for a while. They are camping at the park I work at this week. School starts tomorrow and my dd will be a senior! I am NOT looking forward to tomorrow morning at all. I know I'm going to cry when she leaves! How did time go by so fast???
Have a great day everyone!S

Don't cry about them growing up - they're supposed to!! I remind myself everyday of this, as my DD (29) and DD (26) are happy productive adults who DO NOT LIVE IN MY BASEMENT!!
Anyway, I'm planning to clean out the 'Black Hole #1' closet in the entryway that is dark and scary!!
DD (14) owes me for yet another decorative sketch book I gave in and bought her a WallyWorld yesterday, and so in trade she's cleaning out 'Black Hole #2' closet, much less scary- under our stairway.
Going to a fellow homeschooler/science geek's home to pick up some dissection and labaratory equipment she is divesting herself of.
Teach/ oversee Algebra, Geometry, Anatomy, Chemistry, English and Spanish for the teenagers
A couple loads of laundry
Get my fat self over to the local park for a walk and a circuit through the new exercise equipment recently installed there
Yikes!! I'm gonna be uber-busy and had better get off the computer!!!

WV_mom, Mary is right, you have done your job and now you get to sit back and see the results. Be proud of yourself and your daughter. I'm sure you will get through this.
I just folded the last of our laundry and once hubby is up(I have to wake him in about 5 minutes) I have to put them away. Need to get hubby off to work, go put the rest of my check in the checking account, come home and work on my Dirty Dozen list, fix dinner and get things ready to go back to work for the next 2 days. It's going to be a gorgeous day again so I want to spend a little time enjoying the weather. Hoping everyone has a nice day.

Rebecca, how about meatless soups? My soup night is Tuesday and it's generally meatless. Minestrone, potato soup, corn chowder, french onion, cream of ____, and cheese soups can be made very frugally. Throw in a loaf of homemade bread and you've got a feast!
Hope everyone has a fabulous Tuesday!~~Constance

I kind of like the title: Tight was Tuesday, and ne'er a spare coin to be found.
