I hope it's alright that I start the thread.

It's a rainy cool morning, but it's supposed to clear up later and reach 70.

*General morning chores
*Work 10:30-2:30
*Pick dd8 up from school
*Finish making chicken and dumplings for dinner
*Post on a couple of the October challenges

Biggest Loser is on tonight, so dd8 (she loves the show) will have everything done so we can watch that together.

Have another training class at work. My trainee is awesome so it makes for an easy day. Have to get DH birthday cards (he is very low key about it but we are dragging him out to dinner anyway). Need to change the air filter out in the heating/air unit and vac the dust off the fake logs in the gas fire place. Leaves have just started to turn but they are predicting snow for Sunday. Need to get the last bit of winterizing done before then.

I'm waiting for DH to get home from having his labwork drawn so he can do the homeschooling today and I can hit the road.
I'm going clothes and shoe shopping (I am speaking at our state's homeschool moms' retreat later this month and have nothing appropriate to wear) This is really hard for me, as I almost never buy myself anything but socks and undies.
Need to get a few groceries, and his GFS for some frozen cherries.
Hit the gym (hard!)
Tonight I'm going to bake pies for Bible study tomorrow night
Need to touch base with my boss and my realtor as well.

Good morning! I'm still fighting this cold that seems to want to head down into my chest. Bah!

The sun is shining so I'm going to try to get some laundry done. I need to pick up the downstairs and fold & put away laundry. Read to the boys, pick up the girls, make dinner, watch TBL and fall down dead in bed.

Good morning. Missourimom, of course it's alright and thank you for doing so. I have been up since 8:30, I love sleeping in with no alarm. I did dishes, put beef in crockpot for Italian beef(my first attempt at this so wish me luck), and am finishing up laundry, boy was I behind on this. Here is my to do list for today...

-laundry
-do some reading
-go to store and get hogie buns and cheese
-fix dinner
-do more dishes
-watch TBL

Good Morning! I'm home today, I have an appointment this afternoon, so I decided to take the whole day off! Good thing too, I woke up with a horrific headache. It's slowly going away, so that's good.

Today I am...
- Cleaning my kitchen
- Laundry
- Making a pot of soup
- Making some chocolate snack cake
- Go to the bank
- Go to my appointment

If I have time, I might try to sew something.

Good Morning I'm off today but need to do some laundry and son is off to school. I have a roast in the crockpot for dinner. Going to discount grocery store to see if I can find some goodies on sale later. Going to make pumpkin muffins later for dessert. Going for a walk with doggie and dh too.

Good Morning all from beautiful PA/NJ. It's one of the mornings you wish you could take a long walk...instead I'm at work.

Today:

~DS has karate so DSS is making dinner...grilled chicken, potatoes and a veggie
~maybe do a mid-week load of laundry since I'm going away for the weekend
~going to knock one more thing off my do 4 things list
~maybe try to perfect the chocolate chocolate chip muffin recipe after dinner tonight...FIL and DH each at 4 last night...lol
~balanced checkbook this morning and life could definately be worse

Cloudy and in the 60s here ~ it's supposed to rain later today.

I've been to the dog park and I'm getting ready to put some chicken in the oven to bake for my chicken tortilla soup tonight. I'll also make an apple pie today.

Dog baths are on the agenda along with the daily vacuuming, laundry, and general pick-up.
