Tightwad Tuesday 12/1

This has been one whirlwind week! Friday, we got a call that we had a house showing - it's been on the market for 13 months.
Saturday - showing, and they made an offer 30 minutes later
Sunday - counter offer by us
Monday - they accept - We've sold our house and
Monday night - we start a frantic search for a new house

So TUESDAY - what is happening Tuesday???

Sleep until noon
Look at more houses
Plan the move (did I mention the fact that they want possession by the 30th?)
Pitch-in for dinner with our homeschool group
Groceries

Cleaning and baby proofing the bathroom cabinets and drawers. Crubbing and rain-X ing the shower glass. Get the car inspected and get new tags if I have time. Dinner tonight will be Greek chicken, potato wedges and spinach.

House is already tidy so I will clean up after the dogs and then work on Christmas cards do some laundry and take care of some bills and household errands Have a great day everyone

After work I will
- Make supper
- Clean up the kitchen
- Take the trash out to the curb
- Hopefully cut out a border on a quilt I'm making.

I already got our breakfast done
Put in a load of wash
Took care of the cats
Need to go to the Post Office
Walk my laps
Fix dinner
Think I'll clean the den and work my way through the rest of the house
Today I usally do our bedroom but hubby is sleeping(he's on nite shift till tommorow)

Since I'm feeling much better today, I'll be catching up on all the stuff I should have done yesterday. Need to finish up the laundry, vacuum, make the boys' beds, pick up the boys' rooms, figure out why my lighted garland isn't lighting, put out the last of my Christmas stuff, and list the electric organ on Craigslist and Freecycle.

I slept in
have to tidy up,do dishes, scub floor and bathroom
write out a few xmas cards.

I plan on picking Turnip greens from the garden today, washing them and freezing them. Oh....of course.......COOK some!!

Being totally lazy today. I'm still wearing my exercise clothes. I did exercise though I don't now how effective it was. I was so tired when I did it. I wonder if I'm coming down with something. Let's hope not!

The only parts of the house that need cleaning is my room that I didn't get clean last yesterday and the stove. I do have a load of laundry to throw in the washer. (You know laundry is NEVER done!)

I probably should eat lunch sometime soon.

What I want to do today is nothing. I have little energy and feel like I am coming down with somethings.
However, there are things that must be done.
So today I will:
~pay rent
~turn in time card (office is a few blocks from rental office)
~take item that DH forgot to his office
~work a few hours
~wash a load of laundry (currently in washer)
~fix dinner
~work on Christmas cards (what I would love to be doing all day)

Oh, did I mention that my landlord is replacing all the siding on my house, so I live in a construction zone. I am so ready for him to be done.

I need to clean and organize the cupboard above the phone area. We have been very lazy and just throwing things in there.

It must be in the air. I don't want to do anything but sleep, which is what I'm going to do once I get done with all of my posting(priority #1). I worked my 8 hours, came home and fixed dinner. Then I sat down in my LayZbabe and almost fell asleep. DH kissed me by and told my to go to bed... ok if you say so. The dishes will just have to make it through the night without me.

MaryCarney, I wish you lived closer, I'd gladly come and help you pack and get ready for the big move! YOU ROCK!

Well, the last couple of days have been a total wash for me in terms of getting much of anything done. Insomnia raised it's ugly head for a few nights, so the past 2 nights have been spent doing...not much of anything.

I NEED to get back to work on my Ebay listings, but can't seem to get my butt in gear. Hopefully tomorrow.

Hopefully y'all will see me posting tomorrow about what I'm doing...instead of wishing I was doing...
