Today I will be cleaning out my china cabinet and then we are moving it to a different spot. Depending on the road conditions I may go to my dad's a day early to do his med boxes. I will be setting up the auto pays for this month, that way I won't forget to do it. Then I will finish sorting pictures and get the ones for the grandkids albums into their albums.

School is out because of weather. I need to go run a few errands - bank and post office. Laundry today (linens that didn't get done yesterday as I was at KU Med for tests all day). Plan to send emails to girlfriends to work on nurturing relationships (one of my resolutions) Dinner will be beefy mac (home made).

Wow its already 12 noon here - where has the day gone?!
I woke up too way too early today - 5.30am w/o any reason either - OUCH! Went back to bed but then was up around 7am.
Purged a mystery bag of stuff to go to garbage and goodwill. Tidied up living room and sorted laundry to wash tonight after 9pm. Prepped for my dr's appointment later this afternoon - new dr wants a lot of research done too - new young dr, very proactive vs passive reactive *thumbs up* and then worked out scheduling for my dad's stuff/paperwork and doctors appointments. Had time for breakky and a bit of QT reading on couch with my jumbo mug of coffee.
This afternoon I need to go to the pharmacy, doctor's appointment and then ????. Not sure whats for dinner either - yet. LOL2012: The Year Of The Purge!

Dh is home from work today. The fact that he actually called in speaks volumes about how much pain he's in. He pulled something in his shoulder while putting away the xmas stuff last week. He has an appt this afternoon, I hope they give him something that works and gives him relief.
Even though dh is home (and that usually throws everything off) we got school stuff done, the boys are doing Wii Fit right now. Dinner is in the crockpot, dishes are done. All I have left to do is fold laundry, pick up dd17 from school, go to the drs with dh, and take dd17 to work.

DD and I are spending the day mostly at home - except for one trip to the PO to mail two packages. She's curled up on the couch reading right now and I'm catching up on FV before we start cleaning up the LR and sunroom from Christmas.
Will figure out something to make for dinner from freezer and pantry tonight. DH is subbing for me for this and next week until I can go back to school. My preschoolers are going to be so spoiled by him!!
DD and I are going to try to fit in some time at the pool today - I need to exercise and she wants some color before going back to sub 0 temps in STL!!
I'm off to wrap packages - have a great day all.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Hubby is off all this week. We raked and bagged leaves. Half went into the compost pile and half went to the curb for the garbage man to pick up. I packed an order and took it to FedEx, went to WalMart and bought antifreeze for both trucks (hard freeze due later this week), and went to the grocery store and bought a couple of needed things. All items purchases were on sale and/or I had a coupon for them.

I am pooped out and losing the battle on keeping on budget ALREADY this year. Yuck! Climbing back on board again. Went to work today, and on my lunch break had to purchase yet another birthday present for a party this weekend. I found a clearanced winter coat for my youngest dd to wear for next year, so that was a good thing. She's growing like a weed!
I put in teriyaki chicken in the cp before I left the house this morning, so at least that part of my day is figured out! I need to get off this computer and start cleaning this mess of a house.
Laundry is in, and if I have time, I plan on pulling out my budget and re-working it.
Have a great evening!

I worked from 8-4 and crept home in the 4-6 inches of slush on the roads. I've tossed all the mail in the trash since it was catalogs, forlded a load of clothes and just put some pork steaks in the oven since Hubby just called and said he had no idea what time he will be getting off work. Sigh, I hate eating late but I want him to have a hot meal. I need to get some Bible reading in at bedtime. Oh I almost forgot I'm going to watch TBL.

Yukky day today. Woke up late which was my own fault for going to bed so late, but I had to rush out of the house for work, which I hate. I did get the fitting done for my customers sweater I'm knitting, so now I can start working on the neckline, ribbing and sew it together while I wait for more yarn to do the sleeves. She loves it and can't wait for it to be finished, which is a plus.
When I left her house my car hesitated before starting, like the battery was almost dead. I thought it was due to the cold, so I went to get the oil change I had planned. After the oil change they tried to pull my car out of the bay. My two year old Interstate battery was dead
They did get it started by jumping it so I headed immediately to my mechanic for him to check it out. Replaced the battery at $114 and off to the post office, pick up prescriptions for my elderly friend and then home I came and stayed. My no spend day, except for the oil change, turned into a spent more than I wanted day.
Gathered up more firewood, and noticed termites on the ground under the wood GRRR, started a fire, put box of stuff Amvets didn't pick up on Freecycle, cooked a quick dinner, cleaned off dining room table, washed a load of pet laundry, and now I just have to clean the kitchen. I will then gladly sit down to start work on a camoflauge yarn five hour baby sweater, or work on my customers sweater.

Went to work.....then came home to make dinner, put dishes away (started them before I went to work), help DS#3 with rabbits and stapled some more plastic around the shed where they are housed since it will be 17 degrees Thursday. This is the coldest this area has seen in foreverrrrrr! I do not know how the rest of you who live in the states with negative temps are surviving as I am going to freeze with the 17 temps.
Did some college things...paid DH's tuition, helped DS#1 register for extra classes, made sure DS#2 has all his classes paid for, and checked prices for my textbooks.
Now, I am sitting wiht my feet up, surfing frugalvillage, and watching the Biggest Loser.~*Michelle*~
