The weather's gonna be nasty here, too, Sassy.
My to-do list:
- work 8 hours and try to consolidate my trips so I don't have to be out in the rain as much.
- eat @ home for lunch
- fold some clothes while I'm home
- get some paperwork done
- pay the water bill
- put gas in the car
- work out: 30 min cardio, then toning
- early bedtime
Everyone have a great Tuesday!

Not so bad if you enjoy the tree. I usually leave mine up till at least mid January. (Sometimes I even rewrap some of the empty boxes to put under it) :whisper:
As for my day. It's currently snowing hear. I don't think we'll get much and it's a nice crisp cold so that's good all around. Makes me feel kind of bouncey actually. (have I mentioned I like snow
)
~ work
~ bills/budget
~ EF deposit
~ play on the computer
~ place a few online orders for some clearence items I've been biding my time for with stored up giftcards (replacement shoes and uniform shirts and such)
~ see if i can get in contact with an old friend that's been on my mind
~ bake something this evening while I do dinner
~ routine basic straightening
~ possibly attack the hall HBA storage closet
~ prep lunches for tomorrow
I was planning on jogging this afternoon but maybe I'll take it easy for another day. I upped the weights for my squats and such on Sunday and I can still feel the twinges. I want the muscle to continue to build so maybe I'll do something lighter like a REALLY long walk in the snow
Enjoy your day everyone!!!!

Good Morning, everybody.
Today I am going back to work after a week long stay-cation, need to psyche up a bit.
1. work-out on stationary bike & gym ball
2. Dinner for DS is already in fridge, he's night class, 5-8pm.
3. Set the alarm on cell-phone for 4:45pm, to make sure I leave work @ 5 pm (I have been working late too many times, w/ no-pay, the agents in the office has no respect of employees' work hours)
4. Cook dinner
5. Clean up the 2 'junk drawers' in the kitchen.
6. Bills/budgeting, etc.
Have a wonderful day.

I didn't even get to paying bills on Sunday or yesterday... oops.
I guess today's the day then!
Chores for today:
Finish laundry
Start pork chops in the crockpot at noon
Order new filters for my vacuum
Do the dishes
Pay the bills
Make lunch
I'm tempted to look into an ING Direct investment portfolio today and see what would be good. I think that with a rebounding market, it'll be nice to get started early (even if it is just with $50/mo) for retirement.
We're keeping the heat on 68F and I shut off the power strip to the downstairs last night. I think this is what we're gonna start doing for now on.
I was going to work on the cabinet doors but I don't feel so well. Besides, we have junk in the kitchen that DH still hasn't moved that I don't want to get dust inside of (mainly the microwave).Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

This am was treated to a belated birthday meal - we chose breakky. Was nice to catch up with my friend - QT one on one time. Her treat, no $ spent

Then we walked across the plaza to the Lindt chocolate boutique and they were having a 75% off clearance - YUM! I stocked up, bought some winter chocolates for the bf for Valentines - I don't care if they have snowmen on them lol.
So far helped my dad figure out how to use the new dryer, now that he's hooked it up. Need to get my specialist and diabetes nurse to talk to one another b/c Ive been told I need new meds and I have none left and don't want to refill the ones I will no longer be taking. More paperwork for my dad and then confirm our new car insurance policy therefore canceling our other, soon to be old provider.
Everything else is up in the air - maybe a swim tonight?2012: The Year Of The Purge!

We're having breakfast for dinner again. Something from my DH's family called "Hobblegrits", with eggs. It's a little like Amish scrapple, but with steel cut oats rather than cornmeal. They also use pork shoulder in it, rather than (ewww) all of the scraps off the pig. Then ya fry it.
Eat more pork!
LOL!

Off to school today. Will be leaving at 11 AM - very achy today and meds are not yet helping.
Need to stop and get some basic food, check for mail at the PO and a quick stop at the hardware store and then home to bed.
Computer at home is messed up and DH took his to STL. Before I leave for home, I will send out the Valentine's Day card swap info to the participants.
Have a great day all.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

It's only Tuesday!?!? I didn't sleep well last night, so I've been a little sluggish today. Despite the lack of sleep, I had the forethought to put the roast in the crockpot this morning. And now, home after a full day's work, the house smells glorious! All I have to do is whip up some mashed potatoes, thaw some buns, and figure out a veggie and then supper is done! YAY!
Tonight I plan on doing some laundry, pay a couple of bills online, and keep after a scarf I started on my knifty knitter. I WISH I could knit the actual way, but baby steps!
