Tightwad Tuesday 3/16

Well good afternoon everyone. Hope you are enjoying nice sunny weather in your neck of the woods. It's sunny and 60 degrees here.I did my 8 hours at work. I had to drop off a library book on the way home. I have dinner in the oven and DH just woke up. I will have to do dishes after dinner and I plan on watching LOST later. I may get some reading in also. See you all tomorrow.

Hello, Cat! I wasn't as productive as I had planned to be today. I can't get energized to complete the list of items I planned to tackle this week since we are on spring break. I did cross some items off my list, but the bigger items are still sitting there. I guess I am leaving them to the end of the week. I did manage to clean the kitchen, fold and put away laundry, rearrange the living room, and sweep floors (need to mop). Maybe tomorrow I will tackle my bedroom and closet like I planned to do today.

Today I: taught school, did paperwork, cooked supper, baked a cake, paid bills, and now I'm resting!

The weather here is gorgeous! Should go out and enjoy, but...too tired to move!

Today I took my dad (along with my other siblings) to the stroke clinic. We all got educated, my dad got checked out and well...I took advantage of quality time with my siblings visiting with them. Then I bolted out to the grocery store for solo time and spent $61!

And an additional $10 at the pharmacy for my dad's new meds. And the hospital parking was $14.

Totally not a tightwad day with my total being $85!

Good evening to you all.
I am still adjusting to the new time, but I love the 'spring forward' time, still light outside.
Anyway, busy work day. Got a little even with the 'trying' person, I was 'short' with her, just answered her 'yes', 'no', 'have you checked your email'.
Veg planters had been watered.
Dinner is cooked.
DH is off to his exercise class.
DS has evening school, should be back soon.
Dog has been fed.
I am by myself, having a little 'me' time. Wonderful.

Have had the headache from h**l all day long.

Ran a couple of loads of dishes through the dishwasher and will probably go ahead and run one more before bed.

Two loads of laundry done.

Made a big pot of HM chicken noodle soup and some chicken salad.

Took DS to baseball practice.

DH and I ran to Publix for some more chicken (they had a great sale on it this past week).

Now, off to take some more Advil, pour myself another cup of coffee and head to bed.
