Wow, nobody started this yet?!? Must be my lucky day! lol

Well, it was business as usual around here. Kids to school, myself off to work. Now that I'm home, I need to clean this house. It is truly a pigsty, and I'm overwhelmed with it! I'll just try and do one room at a time. I also need to work on some tax forms for a non-profit organization I'm the treasurer for. Ugh, not sure how to do that one. Hope it won't be too rough!!

American Idol tonight, so I better get busy so I can stop for a bit to watch it! Have a great night, all!

Today was a beautiful day, with only a misty rain which only made things smell so much better!

I woke up early, got Diva to school, went grocery shopping on the way back...

I spent most of the afternoon sitting outside on the bench reading and list making, sipping on coffee and enjoying the weather.

After bringing Diva home and helping with her homework I ran to the Children's Orchard for a pair of shorts Diva can wear to school tomorrow. It is suppose to be 85, and the school sent home a reminder that shorts can't be more than 2" above the knee... I will have to keep my eye out for boys shorts because all the girls seem to be too short.

While I was out, I bought Diva a bathing-suit... I will need to return it tomorrow because the bottom fits, but the top is too revealing. I am having a hard time finding modest suit for her, and we need to have one for Monday for a birthday pool party.

Grilling dinner at the moment and after dinner I will finally relax. I may grab a ball of yarn and see what I make out of it.

I'm new, so for those of you who don't know, I work 4pm-12:30am.


I got up this morning and washed & dryed a load of clothes and did a little basic house cleaning. The dogs, and I, went on a nice long walk, before it got too hot. Afterwards, I set out for a little shopping, before work. I have been drawing a blank when it comes to a gift for my Jr. Bridesmaid, but I figured it out, today! I was in the local dollar store and they had just put out the cutest, bright-colored, summer totes and matching accessories. I got her a tote and filled it with a brush, head wrap, make-up bag, lip gloss, flip flops, lotion, body spray, bath gel, and shimmering powder for $12! I am stoked to have found such an affordable gift, that I really think she'll adore!

Now, I'm at work. I'm not getting too much accomplished, here.

Great day here - sunney and just the perfect temperature!!

After school I need to........

sew and sew and sew until time for fittings at 6:30 PM!! Then I am going to come home and watch TBL as I continue to sew and sew and sew!!

I also need to do some bill paying and that's enough for today!!

Since I am on modified bedrest I did not do much. My DH cleaned the kitchen and I vaccumed the living room. It has been raining all day and I think it made us slow and lazy, but thats fine with me every once in a while.
