    Default Tightwad Tuesday, 4/20/10

Good morning! It's going to be another gorgeous day here! However, I am now back to work so I won't get to enjoy the whole day. Oh well, it could be worse!

Today it's school for the kids and work for myself. After work I need to head home and keep after this house of mine! I didn't do much yesterday, and you can tell!

Will try to run to CVS before work and roll my ecbs for more free stuff. Need to also come up with a game plan for the summer in regards to childcare for my kiddos. After listening to everyone's advice, I am leaning towards finding a high schooler to watch them, so I'll look thru the student directory to find someone interested in making some money this summer.

    Have a great day, everyone!

I'm hanging out. I have about a million dvr'd Criminal Minds to watch, so I might watch one of those soon. I also need to crochet some coasters.

*Need to run a couple of loads in the dishwasher
*Run a load of towels and a load of darks through the washer and dryer
    *Run to Publix
*Take DS to the batting cage and then to baseball practice
*Make dinner and run a plate over to DH's aunt
    *Scrapbook a few pages
*Go over the new grocery flyers, match-up my Q's, print some Q's and order any others I may need for this week.

Praying to day will go smoothly. The 20th of February my grandfather died. Then the 20th of March, one of my other grandfathers (I have four) told us he has inoperable esophageal cancer. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed that nothing happens since the 20th of the month seems to be a crappy day.

I need to clean the kichen, fold laundry, and pick up my room. I will clean my sheets if I dont run out of steam.

After getting kids off to school, I decided to have a few sips of coffee and some water. Then, I went for a nice 15 minute run. I didn't go quite as far as I wanted to but I haven't run in about a year so it's good enough for me. I came back, stretched out, did some more leg exercises and plan on spending the rest of the day playing in the garden!

It'll be in the 70s here today... soooo gorgeous outside. I have to rake out the entire front yard to get it ready for new grass seed. I already sectioned off the area with some twine and wooden stakes last night, plus removed a lot of the spruce branches that were dragging on the ground.

I'll be putting a meatloaf in the crockpot around lunchtime and waiting for my package to get here from Victoria's Secret (yay bikini!).

So far I have exercised, folded laundry, made the bed, put dishes away, washed the breakfast dishes and showered and dressed. I still need to shred and file, pick up the house, put laundry away and make lunch and dinner.

I'm at work, staying in for lunch, one way to not spend any money is not to leave the building.

Hoping to get home in time to take my son to the library for new books for the both of us.

Dinner is leftover chicken that I just need to toss in the micorwave.

I "spring cleaned" my workpace and my desk. Now I feel "fresh". okay, well I'm at work, so maybe not exactly "fresh".

    have a great day!

Got up to get get ready for work, showered and realized that the cough I have been ignoring is hitting full time with chest congestion and that germy feeling. Just called in for a sub - am not going to share my germs with anyone at school today.

My plans for today have changed to just take care of my health!!

maui - nip that cold in the bud!

This morning consisted of me bolting awake way too early. Due to that I showered, hit the grocery store, played/exercised on the Wii and did physio with my dad. Oh made soup for lunch too.

I could try to sweep/mop floors but every time I plan it, it never pans out so we'll just see what I have time for this afternoon. I'm feeling kind exhausted right now though - was up way too early for me.

    Take care of yourself Maui!

When you put Meatloaf in the crockpot do you put it in Raw? Could you share the rcipe please? I have never tried meatloaf in a crockpot before... and I lovemy crockpot so am always looking for new ideas.

    Today is Dh's BD!
So dinner is Chicken Fajitas, Mexi rice
and either homemade strawberry shortcakes or chocolate fondue (haven't decided yet).

We will celebrating his BD more on Friday... BD cake probably and a movie or something... Today no one is home and he has a meeting!

Other than that I am getting brakes done on the care... so it is an expensive day...
