    Morning', Villagers!!

I'm trying to wake up by watching some news and guzzling coffee, but the news is downright grim. Floods EVERYWHERE, tornadoes, and then there's the middle east. Yikes. Maybe I should switch to Cartoon Network and see what shenanigans Scooby Doo is getting into...

Just got back last night from being at my parents' house for the Easter break. My nana is not doing well, and moved in with my parents. VERY hard to see her so tiny and struggling to breathe. Praying the Lord takes her peacefully in her sleep and she never has to suffer.

I also came back with 409 lbs. of beef that dh and I purchased. Which I had to unload alone last night. Ugh. Then I rushed ds to a doctor's appointment after unloading the meat at 5:30 at night as he had had a bad sore throat all weekend. He's fine, it's a viral infection. Shoot, no drugs for that, my poor little man has to suffer thru it.

Now on to today. Work for me. School for the kids. I think we'll all be a little cranky this morning. My house is upside down, and it's garbage day with my bin overflowing, so I need to do that after I get home from work.

The good news is that the kids don't have any activities after school, so we get to go home and STAY HOME! Hooray!

Alright, I better gear up to start waking up the troops! Have a great day!

Sounds like you have been busy! I'm so sorry about your Nana Hugs!

Today is crappy and rainy outside. My basement will never quit getting soaked at this rate!

I am doing burger today for the freezer. I have about 30 burgers cooked and cooling. I also made a veggie quiche that is supposed to serve 6. MMMM I dont think so because I just ate 2 servings! We are trying to have no eating put for the next few months so I need to prep for when time is short!

I'm also going over bills with a fine tooth comb too see where to cut!

Today ... mmm... need to go to store (most likely Aldi's) & grab some bread & some other stuff. Also need to check store circulars... pick of DFS from prek, go to chiropractor (thank God it's only a $5 copay... & I'm paid up for awhile...just wish it wasn't so far). Need to get the rest of my homework done, & start a menu plan this week. Been exhausted lately, & was sick yesterday... need to make an appt w/dr to see if have sleep apnea (sure I do ... DH says I stop breathing at night & then start gasping for air ).. Working on the laundry today as well...

So far that's all I can think of... really I just want to crawl back into bed...

Hope ya'll have a good day!

Called Cablevision since I was not receiving some channels. Someone showed up around 11:30 am and left around 12:30 pm. Which I guess is ok since the technician said the only reason he showed up was because of a cancellation. I would have been really upset if no one showed up. So everything is hopefully taken care of with the cable. Just really tired to have to constantly wait for someone to show up.

Right now I am waiting for the water to boil so I can make lunch.

Was able to get the place cleaned yesterday so I can finish what I have been working.

    Have a great day everyone.

Took DF for physio this am, watched a few tv shows from the pvr while waiting for my migraine to subside. Took dad to the bank and just finished lunch of leftover salad and steak. Waiting on my decaf coffee to finish brewing before I either continue to procrastinate OR do some chores & purging. I believe tomorrow is garbage day.

So gloomy out today too Not motivated for anything.

    Prayers for your nana, Vanessa.

We're having a rainy day. Lucky I got out the flowers I wanted to yesterday.

I am scrubbing out kitchen cupboards, and changing things around a little bit as I go. DH will be so po'd, LOL. But it requires doing once in awhile.

Hope to move on from there and do the rest of the kitchen over the next couple of days. I mean a 'good' job for a change. lol.

Right now, I'm having a PB&J sandwich. Break time. I need to go to the basement freezer. I haven't even decided on dinner yet.
